Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 013 and 014

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Thanks, jb'sproudmom. Mail will be very welcoming. Cannot wait to meet you all soon. Prayer will give all strength. Thanks.
I saw that too. I will have to look and see what the week will entail. I hear week 4 is rather difficult.
I'm Sorry U missed your call. Keep your fingers crossed letters will b coming this week. But I know how u feel last week I was at work so my SR called my father. Which is ok. But not the same. Keep your head up and I will keep praying for all our SRs.
Thanks Logaus2, just worried about him. I'd be ok if he sounded ok. Wish I was there for him. Gotta be strong.
That's what I keep telling myself and I keep telling my SR in every letter. Stay Strong!! We gotta be here for each other. But in a way the phone call was bitter sweet because I heard his voice but it just makes me miss him!! Stay Strong!! My new slogan.

Got a call but missed it! Good news is he said on his message that he will be sending out letters tomorrow...I can't wait! He sounds so happy :)

Sheree-I am so sorry you missed his phone call! Will pray for the mail handlers to move quickly & get those mail to all of you.
My son don't like to write and before he left he looked at all of us and said, "I'm not going to write letters" I looked at him & before I could get a word out he says, I don't want to think and write and then I'm gonna start missing home more! All I said was, you better call then! Lol.....that's mÿ youngest for you!
Thanks 808, I'm sure glad to know there was a reason for not getting the letters. I just figured my son never went and got stamps and the letters were just sitting there. They are so funny aren't they. I will anxious to check the mail midweek. Thanks moms. I can't say enough how happy I am to be able to communicate with all of you.

Sorry you missed your call too Insewa, I'm glad your son sounded good on the phone though!

Thanks funny IslandMom! lol! I thought my son wouldn't write either, but requested in his call today that I send him more paper. I think your son may surprise you and you'll find a letter in your mailbox soon! :)

Aloha magoostersmom , could you pls send me a friend request . I'm so bad in computer, thanks

hi hawaiin mom,

I sent a friend request :)

I have to add my "sorry you missed your call" to Sheree & Insewa.  It's hard to hear when they say they're not feeling well and there is nothing you can do to help.  It's our job to keep them healthy and safe.  I guess we have to trust the Navy will do that for us now.  Sheree, no news is good news.  He'll be well taken care of.

I got a call from my SR yesterday.  We could only talk for about 5 mins. but it was so nice to hear his voice.  He sounded better than he did last week.  Still on the fence about the whole Navy decision but realizes this is his journey.  This BC thing can be mentally draining.  It will be much better once out & in A school.

Yes, our motto here is Stay Strong  !
