For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Good morning all ! Does anyone really know what BC day it is. I've read so many mixed reviews. It doesn't matter because it is what it is, but it's just fun keeping track of their daily activities.
Haven't heard from my SR in awhile. My phone has become an extra appendage lately. I panic if I leave it upstairs and I'm checking it constantly for missed calls! This too shall pass........after 11/22. Then we'll have more communication freedom.
I love to see that digital clock counting down the days.....25 more to go ! Can't wait!!!

From what I've heard from others... they should be on Training day 5-1 tomorrow. (weekends don't count toward the training day count).
I havn't heard from my SR in a while so I can't confirm with him. Maybe someone else can?

They are on week five. This Friday coming up if it is the same as week four will b 5-1.

According to my recruit when I talked to him last Thursday night. Two days ago Friday was 4-1 not quite sure how the count I think maybe its backwards I dont know! But we are definitely on week 5. Lol

I received a letter this week but he was running low on stamps and envelopes so he wrote me, his brother, and his grandparents and put them all in one envelope. So that maybe y u haven't heard anything maybe he ran out of paper, envelopes, or stamps.

No problem. I don't know about your SR' s but mine left here with a piece of legal pad paper of addresses stuck in his wallet of people he had to write so Im sure they are all rolling through paper, stamps, and envelopes.
