Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 013 and 014

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Wow.  poor guy!  I can't imagine going through all that and then be delayed because you fell out of bed.

Hall of Fame division...wow!  That's a major accomplishment. (Getting so many flags during their time at bootcamp, I believe.  Last PIR or the one before there were 2 divisions that got it.  Other than that, I think it's been just one, and maybe none)   Man, I wish our boys were together!  Div 14 must have come a long way since the beginning...if I remember right, you said they were getting disciplined for a lot of things in the beginning.

Yeah for letters!

Got a letter today. It was addressed to everyone on our side of the family. He said he was short on time because he had to go to the dental clinic again. But he sounded upbeat!! Made my crappy day much better. But miss him a lot today Halloween is his favorite holiday. Lol. Hope everyone got a letter today. Stay Strong three more Fridays.
Yeah suzb...glad to hear you got a letter! Our boys are together and will be staying in GL together so it would be cool to meet at the meet n greet. Hopefully this means I will be getting mail soon too :)

I thought the same thing Barb.  That would stink to hold up your PIR for falling out of bed. The first letter I got from my son he stated his division didn't seem to have a clue.  With each letter they were doing better & better.  Now he tells me how great they are scoring !  Good for them.  It takes time to learn how to work as a team.  Patience and persistence !

He also said they may get to make a call and have pizza !  So, division 014 mom's, keep those phones close.

It seems they are doing great!

We got a letter!!  very short, but so much better than nothing at all!!  He didn't date the letter, but said he passed his Pfa on the day before he wrote.  I would assume that meant he took the Pfa on Friday, and wrote the letter on Saturday (this has been a major prayer of mine, that he will pass it, and not hold off until the third attempt.  He said it was a major boost!).  He said that the division (013) is down to 77 from 83, and still shrinking (if you want info on why, you can pm me).   It's so hard to think of all these guys willing to give of themselves, and not making it.  I do wonder how the numbers work out on those who get lots of letters, prayers and love from home vs those who don't.  I came across n4ms by fluke, but I don't know that I would have kept up writing every day if I didn't have the 'inside story' from you all.  It keeps me writing (not always exciting stuff, but it's a hand-written letter to my SR, so hopefully he understands that we are behind him!)  It's Thursday here...3 weeks from tomorrow!

Hi Barb my SR is in Div 013  i send you friend request. Please give me info about div 013. I m so worried about my SR. Please reply, I really appreciate it . Thank you and God Bless.

Barb I just sent you a friend request too. Can you please send me info about division 13. My SR tries to sound like everything is great. And never wants me to worry. Thank You
Happy Birthday to your son Lisa. Happy Halloween All!

We received a letter last night and it seems like everything is going well! He misses home and his phone and laptop!! Reminded me so far in every letter to be sure I remembered to bring them with us to PIR.  Looking so forward to hearing his voice soon, hoping they are able to call home soon. His letters are always fairly upbeat which makes it a little easier.  Hope everyone is having a good day!  We are almost there!!!

I'm very sorry to hear about the SR falling out of bed. I sure hope he is ok. I'm also concerned about hearing of division 013 losing all of those SR's. Yes my son is in division 013 but didn't mention that. Of course the letters are not that long.

Yay Barb !  So glad you got a letter and he passed his PFA (?)  Whew....

Yes, SallyM, My phone has become another appendage of mine.  Once this is over it will have to be surgically removed because my skin grew over it !  Lol

If I hear any more about the SR condition I'll let you all know.

Happy Halloween everyone.  It is pouring buckets here so not sure how many Trick or Treater's we'll get.  Too bad for the kids.

Clock says 21 days !!!
