Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 025 and 026

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

It will be fun to find out who they are!! His GF was upset that he would rather do that than be with us, but I am sure we will all head out there. It would be so much fun with all the families :)

I'm really proud of 026- my SR said they are hoping to get Hall of Fame. Does anyone know what that is?

I'm proud of them, too! It's great to hear how well they are doing.

As for going to get pizza with the guys, I can only imagine that after all they have gone through together, if some are not going to the same A school, they would want to do something fun together before they are split up. From what I have heard and read, their RTC group is one they never forget. I'm prepared to do what ever SR wants that weekend. lol! I may not like it or be too thrilled, but I'm prepared!

I'm on the same page with you on that one. Because we are in Chicago and they may have liberty Thursday everyone is chomping to have my son at their Thanksgiving- but what we do that day is 100% his call. He heads out to South Carolina after this so what he wants to do with his free time is ENTIRELY up to him :)

They will get over it. And he will appreciate it more than anything. I'm prepared to sit in the hotel room watching him play video games with his 12 year old brother and my daughter's fiancee!

Too funny! I can't decide if mine will be desparate to be with the gf or will want the pizza, lol! My guess is he will drag the gf along. I noticed in his bank account, his very last debit transaction the day he arrived at BC was the pizza place at O'Hare.

I'm really hoping the GF doesn't come with us. He says he gets to come home for Christmas, so I hope that is good for him. We'll see. I don't want to have to compete with a 17 year old he's only been dating for 6 months . . . one of which he was gone. *sigh* teenage boys . . .

But really, if my daughter was dating someone who left for the service, I would not let her go to graduation if they had only been dating for six months. Especially if his family was as big as ours. We can't fit her in our rooms, and we can't afford to pay for her. I'm trying not to worry about it, but it's getting close fast.

Breathe deep friend - I hope you & I can meet at a rest stop, throw the girls in a trash can & drive away :) I am only kidding - I REALLY like her Mom lol, but it's tempting lol

GF will be traveling & staying with us - we've known her since the kids were in grade school (small town life).  No way am I spending all that $ to sit in a motel room while SR "spends time" down the hall.  Too bad, so sad NOT :)  Easier for us, we are only 3...

Thanks. Strangely enough, if it was the GF he had for two years in 9th & 10th grade? I wouldn't think twice about bringing her . . . I'm all for the rest stop meeting! ;-)

You guys are too funny, we don't have the rest stop area option, we're flying and it's a non-stop flight, lol! Our SR has told us he wants to get married after boot camp, so apparently this is the one. They've been dating for 2 yrs and he's 21 but she's only 18, just hoping everything works out for them, I know adjusting to military life can be difficult.

You still have to drive from the airport to the hotel - who knows what can happen ? Seriously, in light of this past week, the marriage thing is making me less crazy.  I still don't love it, but have no time for it right this minute.  I still say we put all 3 girls in 1 place & just "forget" to retrieve them :)

Ooops!! lol, did we forget you?!?

Never thought about not sending mail before PIR that's a good question!

I sure hope they get the little things pulled together. I got spoiled with those two phone calls the first two saturdays!! Miss him a lot. Will encourage mine even more now, too.

I'm so glad it's November!
