For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

To mama3 I got a letter yesterday my son has been really suck and on LLD, but said their the div was getting scolded due to some practice at taps and was having to pull it together but doing good. He said he has met some great guys in the Div and they all were pretty close and becoming friends. 3 weeks!!!

Also got a letter sounded much more upbeat and positive hoping for a phone call but I won't hold my breath. Sounds like teamwork in process I am so proud of all of our young men and women thanks to all you mom's for the fine young people you have raised :)

Pj29: I am glad to hear that you heard from your son this week. Sorry to hear that he has been so sick. I appreciate hearing his reports about training. I agree with you that they definitely need to work together to be successful for the rest of BC. Thrilled to hear that they are bonding. Together they will get to graduation and enjoy all their hard work. Please keep us updated if you hear from your recruit. Thanks.

I was getting worried...no phone calls last week and no letter!My son is on same ship and unit as your son.I am guessing they were on "hell week".I am glad they are pulling it together and becoming friends! Looking forward to November 22...the countdown!

I was feeling pretty down this week too not hearing from my son but won't take it personally if he is just taking care of business and working with his division to get to graduation. Thanks for letting me know about your son. We will pray them and us through this :)

I haven't got any calls from my son today either.Anxiously awaiting for it though!Hopefully with all good news!Yes,I agree,they must of had a rough week.That makes waiting for his phone call even more difficult.

Hello all, I was also hoping for a phone call today but wasn't sure they would get one. I did get a letter on Wednesday and all he could say is keep sending pictures. We are now down to 19 days and counting. I can't wait to see him. Missing him so much today.

Hope you get a call this morning we were just discussing what they were doing my son also goes to church at 7:00 there time so maybe later today we can talk to them. It sure does seem like a long time :( I feel like my separation anxiety is worse now. My husband says it is because I know it is getting closer. Have a great day ladies.
