Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 803 and 804
Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).
sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.
Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.
Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.
We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Arlene, they will ship home a lot of stuff they got in BC that they will not need in BUDS. They can take civilian clothes, phones, computers, etc. with them.

I was wondering what the group consensus was for liberty if sr go to the Great Lakes for a school. My boyfriends mepps said they will only have liberty through Friday for the holiday weekend? Any thoughts?

They should have liberty Saturday and Sunday as well, but must be brought back each night, usually 8 or 9 PM. It depends on the instructor.

Getting back to holiday leave, I probably should let you know that it is not a given. They must put in a chit and get approval first. I do remember my son asking for flight information so he could let them know.

My boyfriend is staying in Great Lakes for Dive Prep and I was told that he'll have liberty through Sunday and just had to be back at a certain time. Can anyone confirm this? I've already booked my flight and hotel through Monday 2nd which isn't a big deal at all.

Hey, my boyfriend is staying in the Great Lakes also. I'm hoping they have off till Sunday. I made my flight home for Monday morning. I was feeling optimistic!!!

They will have leave. They will be on Phase 1 liberty which means they have to be back on base at night, they must wear their uniform when in public and NO ALCOHOL. It is very important that they are not late getting back. Whatever time they are told to be back, I would get them back at least an hour early. They have a bit of a walk from where you drop them off to their barracks. YOU DO NOT WANT THEM TO BE LATE! I think they have to be back a little earlier on Sunday night. If you can stay through Monday, that's great. I booked my flight for Sunday afternoon and really hated that I did not get to spend Sunday afternoon with my son. I picked him, we had breakfast and then I had to take him back by noon because I had to drive to the airport. Blessing to you all. I know how excited you are.
Of course, always remember - everything is subject to change with the Navy.
