Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 025 and 026
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Yay for your phone call!!
I noticed that too. And I'm actually not posting as much I would like to...ha
I'm one who is never at a loss for words...most of the time that's a curse :)
Yup, saw that too :)
Yes, I did notice that! We rock.
And I can't wait to meet all of you! Imagine what we all will be like together LIVE! ;-)
Pretty down today, really missing my boy. C'mon PIR !
Yea...me too. I sent my SR a letter with some jokes. 3 more weeks! I just keep thinking how fast the first 4 went. Hang in there!
Good Morning Ladies,
Just wanted to say hello and wish you all a great day! The SR's should be wrapping up week 4 right?
I hope to get a letter this week because I'm very curious to see if my SR still sounds as upbeat as he did last week.
Being in Calif the letters take a solid 4 days to get here.
Hope everyone else gets letters this week too. If you do please share! :)
I know! I'm in California too! But last week I got two letters on Wednesday instead of Thursday. I hope I get one tomorrow. :) I hope you had a great day too!
Letters for us, too! Lots to share with you, too.
Yes to wrapping up week 4. Monday was 4-1. SR says:
This week is *Hell Week* Monday we have our RDC Physical Assessment at 0400, a personnel inspection, a weapon turnover inspection - at 0900-a lot of studying and more. Then Tuesday is our dynamic material inspection and zone inspection, and a few others. Wednesday we have Test 2 and live fire, and more. The rest is a lot of random briefs and training. It's just the lack of sleep . . .
And if any of you have an SR with the last name starting with *F*, who is staying in great lakes for A school, they are buddies, and he's the one that called me for my SR. :-)
He sounded better in my letter, but then wrote hubby a letter than about ripped my heart out. He's doing well, but feels like he abandoned his siblings :-(
I can't wait for the next 20 days to go by really fast. I want to hug my boy.
Thank you so much for sharing!!!
Oh, and he also confirmed no more calls til Battle Stations. However, he said they can earn them and he is trying hard!
He also said it's hard when they serve something we used to have to eat. He says *None of it is as good as home and it gets my hopes up. Then crushes me. I'll admit it, I've gotten teary eyed just from eating poorly made "bean dip". . .
LMAO! That's my boy!
He also said he wants to go to Chicago for a day while we are there.
