Time to have some fun, & raise some money to help Sarge & Mrs Sarge at the same time! :o)

Please help and spread the word through out your Division Groups!
We are short on days now (2 DAYS!!) OMG!!! (o:

All the proceeds go to Sarge and his wife. They provide and purchase the food and hold this amazing reception for all of us to feel welcome and get information about our SRs – just because we are families/lovedones of Sailors!
Let’s Pay it forward, Pay it forward!

Anyone that would like to put together a basket filled with items to represent your home state or items you have crafted, baked, or borrowed (& forgot to return to the neighbor that moved) ;o)   Maybe you crochet, or paint, or knit, or woodwork.

Holiday themes: Thanksgiving is here, Christmas is coming, Football teams(go Bears!!) lol.. We can have many different baskets with many different things in them: Sports items, Challenge Coins. Blue Candles. The possibilities are endless, anything goes!  Really it is whatever you want to bring. There is a dollar store and a Walmart right across the street for people to buy baskets if flying in. You can use gift bags, buckets, think "outside the box".

You bring it yourself to the Meet and Greet (M&G) and we'll raffle it off.  OR you can mail it to the Navy Lodge and we’ll get it to the M&G for you!

So far I have a basket from Illinois coming....anyone else....would love to see some friendly competition between states or teams! :o)

All right - who else is out there?!?! We're up to 6 right now!! Can we hit 10? The PIR group from 11/1 (I'm almost positive) had 48 baskets!! Made over $1k....I'm thinking we can do better - combine with other moms from your state that you've met here, maybe get together before the M&G to combine your things....just another thought that came to me.

THANKS AGIN

Tina - apple pie?  How about 'Tipsy Cake' instead?  It is much better - - -  soaked in 'Lynchburg lemonade' and should be consumed only by those 21 or older.

SWEET! works perfectly for me...I meet that requirement! Is it an actual cake? (Just to check, you knew the Apple Pie I'm refering to is a liquid? - had it ala mode this weekend!)

It is an actual cake - loaf style and a very little goes a LONG way.  If anyone is counting calories, I suggest that you not eat any.  Liquid Apple Pie - oh, just looked it up - - - PGA and Vodka!  OMG.  Those kind of drinking days are over for me.

hahaha love it! it tastes and smells just like an apple pie! :)...a little vanilla vodka and tah dah, ala mode! :)
the cake sounds fabulous! :)

Texas is officially in!!

Sweet!!! thank you!! :)

Hoosier mama here....count me in from Indiana, where there is more then just corn! I would love to put a basket together! Great, fun idea! Love it. Now, lets see... maybe some warm gloves for some of you warm weather friends? Or something else to warm you up?

Awesome TJsMom!! :) Thank You!!
I'm hoping some of the warm weathered folk will bring that warmth with them! we'll need it! :)

THANK YOU Ladies!!!
Anymore takers? Remember, it can be ANYTHING donated - and to ease the work, join forces with another from your state and combine when you meet! :o)
