Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 803 and 804

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

I sent you a message with more about it!

has anyone heard from division 803 .. no letter this weekend from my sr... just wondering what was going on? and how they are doing as a group .. thanks for any updates

I got a shorter letter than usual. It seems as a group, they are struggling to work as a team and there are still a handful who aren't as motivated, it is making it difficult on the group. Just what my SR said, so it could be taken with a grain of salt. I usually get letters on Thursday.

ans10330...  Is he 803 or 804?  My 804 said the same.  It's hard when they ALL get beat down for the actions of a few.  But they MUST be able to work as a team under ALL circumstances in their chosen fields.  As spec warfare has a high drop-out/failure rate (all areas), I assume it will be those who will not/can not work as a team and are not self-motivated that will not make it through.  Good news is there is only 2 weeks left, so we assume they will make it. :)

He is in 803, said for the most part they are doing better but there are still a handful struggling with the right mindset. I totally agree with you on all parts, and that is the mentality my SR has. Said it is frustrating but they need to be able to work through it. I am counting down the days!

My son's letter sounded very good last week (written on Sunday 3 Nov); in fact, he was being HIMSELF which is very off the cuff humor, yet direct lol.  And the SR whose name he had given me to start writing also wrote and HE said things were going well.  In fact, when that SR mentioned his bunkmate not getting much mail, he went on to tell me they're 'all bros'.  Hoping and praying this is the case for the rest of them, too.

Good morning, new to posts, blogs, etc. I don't even Facebook, so I read every post here with Gusto! Our family of three plan to attend Sarge's meet & greet, our SR is in 803. Have received two phone calls, but missed one due to bad reception - left a voice mail! We get a letter about once a week, and he has written to grandparents as well. He sounds very happy, and mentions the division is getting stronger, teamwork is growing - sounds great to me!

A little reserved on what to post, read the OPSEC and anything else on the site! So happy and proud to be part of all this!

Welcome RNG. I dont blame you for being a little reserved. Just keep your comments non specific and you will be fine. Glad you read OPSEC first, so now you know not to post names or dates of movement. This will come in handy later when your boys start to travel.

I got a long letter last week and all seems to be going well. As others state there are still a few that are having problems, but as a whole looks good! The more pushups and burpees they do the stronger they get! :)

I got a surprise call last night form my son, Div 804.  He said they did very well at last inspection and were rewarded for their efforts.  There are a few who are still holding them back, but he was confident they would get through.  He will supposedly get his orders on Wednesday. Some question about A school for his division and the holidays.  He also has made a few close friends. Hope the info helps

Reptarmom...  What orders is he waiting on?  I assumed that if they went in 800 division with a contract, they already had orders.  I'm still learning though.  Would love to hear anything people know about Christmas time (if they are staying at GL for pre-dive, then off to other places after that).  HOpefully one of his friends would be my son.  Never know.

Wow! I wish I had known about this group at the beginning of BC!! I love this group! My SR is 804 - I would love to know how to join the Meet and Greet...I got to talk to my son yesterfday for 15-20 min. His update was that this division has really stepped up and moved to a much better placement......he sounded great. He will be staying on for "A" School...I look forward to meeting all of you...
