Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 025 and 026

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I must be too old, but I can't figure out how to friend you from here.  Anyway, my son is in Div  025, and I would love to know the battlestation date.  thanks!

Friend request sent!

Yea! I got a letter today! Good day!

Momm2five- I am so sorry you have to deal with this such a joyful time. :( I feel for you.

Got 2 HUGE letters. Gave a play by play for hell week....fitness test was monday, along with personal inspections, and a weapons transfer. Said if the DIV had scored a 4.85 average they would have gotten a call, they scored a 4.84!! Weapons training started on the 5th with demilitarized 9mm handgun and 12 gauge shotgun, both using lasers to score shots. He shot expert the first day, but second day live fire with all the gear on only shot sharpshooter(said it was pouring rain the whole way to the range). They also had a locker inspection on the 5th, "3 mins to unfold and unbutton a ton of shit, 13 min to retold, button and perfectly put it away." Took their DIV photos on the 7th, said he didn't think they would turn out very good(just like their haircuts! Lol) Friday was test 2 and drill inspection, and had a 17 min none stop run.(this week they have a 20 min none stop run)
The 10th they had a class on seaman to admiral program, firefighting was suppose to be today and tomorrow. Orders where giving on the 13th. Said they would be getting more vaccines this week also.
Said that "this is our Chiefs last division as an RDC. Moving on to something close. I think that's why our RDC are so hard on us compared to others I've seen. They really want us to be hall of fame." So far they have every flag and pennant a division can earn, but stuff like "leaving the toilet paper on the roll correctly" can change that.
He mentioned a SR from Chicago, a SR with last name starting with "F", another SR with the letter "S",
Said the food has gotten worse. Asked for permission to get a new PS4(love how he asked) when he gets to A school. Was excited he only had a couple days left in "cheap navy underwear(LOL) and bad socks(I am bring some for him from home to PIR)

Proud Wife, thanks again for sharing. I LOVE all those details.  Now I can comment about them when I write my son this morning. He'll think "WOW how does she know all that??" ha

I forgot to mention this earlier but in a letter my son sent a week ago he said his brothers (friends) were guys with last names starting with Fl, Ku, Jo, Co, Ha, or Bu

.

Anyone in our group have a someone with a last name starting with those letters??

I just joined this group today - my son's name starts with Co.

Yes the "fl" one

Just sent you a friend request so that I can message you.

Ok

Is the *s* name us?
That's a lot of info! Thanks for sharing. We got a lot of the same, but not as much. I'll post more tomorrow :-)

Yep! Mentioned your name and he said he knew your SR :)
My letter was not as detailed. But I'm thrilled to have received my first! He also said they received all the flags for their division. He also received a ribbon for live shooting. He said he has 2/3 ribbons, but did not say what the other was for.
They are keeping busy and sound like a good team. Im very proud of all of them. :)
