Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 907 and 908

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Is there place we might be able to get-together the night before graduation where we families might be able to meet each other?  I would love to put faces & real names together.

Hello all

I am so excited to have this site, I am learning a lot. Our daughter is on ship 2 div 908 . She will be going to San Antonio for A school as an MA?

NavyMomNewbie - yes it is.  I am so excited for PIR and it looks as though some SRs are making phone calls, needless to say - phone is glued to my side!  We are so happy that she has made the decision to serve but we still miss the heck out of her.  Can't wait to hear her voice and find out what her role is in 908.

Hi sherrij, my daughter is on another ship and div but she's also MAA, going to San Antonio for A school :)

EllaMom, check your inbox for a note. :)
How many 908 moms got calls today for security info today?

Is anyone's son or daughter going for HM in San Antonio? Seems like a lot of MA but don't think i've heard of any HM (hospital corpsman)...thanks!

That would be great!! We will be going to Sarge's Meet & Greet probably but i'm wondering if we can all meet up somewhere afterwards!

it's the main meet and greet that PIR families go to, it's thursday evening before PIR at the Sundance Saloon...they yummy food and informational videos...it's very popular...we're staying at the Navy Gateway Inn on base...if my background check goes okay ;)

I'm staying at the Navy Lodge and they said it's 1.5 miles from graduation. Does that mean it's on base too? No one checked my background that I know of.

just had to give them my personal info and they do some type of background check...i think that's what the eligible means...you find out if you pass in two-three weeks!

yeah, call back in the morning because they let me submit mine like last week! it's nice because you're already on base and it's only a five minuteish drive...don't have to wait at the main gate either!
