Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Good morning!
No news, yet. I just finished my 7th letter to my SR. I am running out of things to say (that's a first). I am hoping to hear from SR soon. Although, I believe I read somewhere that "no news is good news". I wish you all a blessed day!

Just an idea...I do a weekly newsletter filled with pictures i have taken that week of things going on with his sisters, and add questions, funny pictures and cartoons....if you look at my blog you can see the first one i did

Hello everyone. Check your mail! I just got two letters from our son. This is the first time hearing from him. I broke down crying!!!! He is ship 13 div 049. He said it was getting harder but he is doing ok. Something about they moved to a different building. He said the food was amazing!!! And that he was gaining weight. It was soo good to finally hear from him and to know he is ok.

Yeah you got the letter!!!!!! One of the best feeling to finally hear from them. My husband read somewhere that they may pull wisdom teeth out. It sounds like they are doing good.

That is awesome, I tease my husband about the blues being like jammies, he too says that they are very comfortable! :) I wonder about my son's wisdom teeth after reading your post. Were they in yet? Thanks, :)
