Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 045 and 046
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hello! My son is in Div 045. I hope to meet some other Moms who have sons/daughters here. We are in Rogers, Arkansas
I am afraid so, Laurie. I haven't seen anyone that has someone in div 045. I am glad you came along. Are you going to graduation?
Yes. We are driving, my husband, daughter, my neighbor (adopted grandmother) and myself. Leaving early Thursday morning so we can make it there late afternoon. We are staying at Homewood Suites. I looked at the Navy Lodge and wasn't sure if we could stay there.
How did you find out about that? The activities I mean.
Hi my SR is in Div 046. I got to talk to him last night. I am feeling much better.
No. But he did tell me he got my letters and wrote to me on Sunday.
I am so happy for you SCMom. It is so nice to hear their voice isn't it. I am so glad you joined us here. Laurie and I thought we were the only ones that had someone on ship 09.
Yes, it is was great to hear from him. I missed his call on Sat and was feeling really down about that. He sounded really good.
My son wrote his letter the day after he called and he said he would be able to call 2 more time before graduation. I am so looking forward to it. I almost missed his call on Saturday. He called the home phone (which he never does) and I was across the street with my neighbor. So he called my husband at work and he in return called me to go home because our son was going to try the house again. So I did get to talk to him after all. But now I set up my home phone that when it gets a call it will simultanously ring my cell phone. No more missed calls from my baby.
I have a son in DIV 046. This is my second time with a son in Navy boot camp. My oldest son has been in the Navy for almost 2 years. We are from Nebraska.
