Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 049 and 050

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I got a call he sounded great!!

Good morning to all of you.   Have any of you heard any more from your SR.   Mine said he was invited home to his bunk mates home for Christmas.   I am so thankful for this family for inviting him.   I know he would not go to a strangers home if he did not feel comfortable.   So, I can only imagine what a wonderful son they must have.   I hope these young men will become lifelong friends.   I know my son always wanted a brother close in age, now he has quite a few.

I wish i could remember the last name of my son's bunkmate...curious to see if their family on here....

My boyfriend's bunk mate's family is adopting the two if them for Christmas, would like to know who the family is that's adopting him. Div 049

Hello all - my son is Ship 13, Div 049 and will be going to Mississippi for A school.  He's sent me a list of things to bring and said I will have to bring them to him at the airport when he flies out.  Does anyone know when they will fly out?  I was hoping to spend a day with him after PIR.

My son is Div 049 and going to Groton for A school.  When I talked with him last week he seems to be doing very well and says they have been doing a lot of folding.  I wonder how that is going for him because he never did a piece of laundry when he was home.  Anyway he sounded great.  I'm so excited to see him on Christmas.  He is bring a friend with him and that is great.  I just wish there was something I could put under the tree or in a stocking for them.  The friend he is bringing home has intials CH so if you are his mom, dad, girlfriend, just know that we will take very good care of him and feed him well.

Anyone's SR going to South Carolina for A School? After Jan. 3'rd PIR

hhas anyone from ship 13 div 49 received im a sailor call?
