For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

No one from here got a call today either. =( I was hoping he would call his Mom. Who knows maybe tomorrow, but I'm hoping everything is ok with them.

I appreciate you letting the group know anyway! I want to hear from my son, but no news is still good news! It is nice to know if there is a possibility of hearing from our loved ones, so we are less likely to miss the call! Thanks! :D

Did your fiancé say if the division will receive an academic flag? I guess if everyone passes, they get a flag. At least that would help us to know that our SR passed. We didn't receive any calls last night. As much as I want to hear from him, today is going to be busy also, and I would hate to miss a call.

My SR passed, he however didn't say anything about anything else. All he said that he was promoted to help everyone else who wasn't doing well with their testing, do better. =(

Just got off the phone with my SR (it was a reward for something he did). He has pneumonia. The recruiter didn't get the waiver for his dislocated shoulder done properly so there is a chance he might get sent him. He was supposed to have the dr look at it Friday, but they found the pneumonia and didn't look at his shoulder. It was only 5 minutes, but he sounded better (besides being sick). He really doesn't want to get sent home.

Yeah for the reward....boo for the pneumonia. I imagine they put him on something for it. Hope everything gets straightened out and he doesn't get sent home

So glad your son got to call you! Feel so bad for him going through all of this with pneumonia! Hope the meds kick in fast, and he gets better soon! And really hope he doesn't have to go home!
