Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 055 and 056

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Great to hear. My son also mentioned the mail when I talked to him yesterday. He got some of my letters but not all. He also told me he enjoys writing letters. Go figure.

To all   My son called yesterday and said they were getting their dress blues soon and having their pictures made this week.  He also mentioned marlinspike...I think I am spelling it correctly.   That is when they practice untying (sp) the ship from the dock.  If I am correct this  will be week 3 for them.   Hope this is helpful!

Did Any One Get A Call From 11 56 this weekend No Call Yet OMG Going Alittle stir crazy!!!!!!

I didnt get a call either :(  Maybe those who didnt get a call this weekend will get one today!

Nice surprise today, my son got to use the phone for 1 hr! Nice surprise for my husband as he got the call, talked to him for 25 min. He said everything is good but he sounds terrible as he has a horrible cold.

TGIF! Only 4 more to go!!!

anyone get calls today??? I didn't but hoping to get 1 tomorrow. haven't had a letter in 2 weeks. It is so much easier when I get a letter or a call I hope we all get 1 soon

No & no I feel your pain. No letter here for 2 weeks either. I'm trying to take comfort in the knowing if something was wrong he would get a call but it would still be nice to hear something.

No call for me either.  Son in Div 055.   Did receive letter on Thursday.  That seems to be my day for letters if he writes on Sunday.  Sunday is the only day they get to write.  At least that is what I have heard from other moms.  Hope we do get calls today but not banking on it since they got to call last weekend.  No news is good news at times! but it doesn't make it any easier for us loved ones!

Mom2Bella, ditto here no phone calls :(  Didn't even get a letter this week. But your right , no news is good news. Also I think this is a busy time for them getting ready for Marlinspike. But like you still hoping maybe today:)

Anyone get a phone call or letter recently?   I think they are in hell week this week so very busy!

Hi Mom2Bella......I got a letter today and was lucky enough to get a call late Saturday night as my son answered some questions correctly.  I think I was just a lucky mom.

We are driving up there for Christmas to spend time with him and his barrack mate.....Next Wednesday can't come soon enough!
