Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 067 and 068

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

hi everyone my son is in ship 11 div 068 cant wait to meet you all at the meet and greet the night before PIR! we will be staying at the Navy Lodge, so excited!! I miss my son so very much and cant wait to get a letter from him, I sent him a letter as soon as I got his address and sent him some stamps and a print out of phone cards. really hoping to hear from him as soon as he can write/call, I know they are really busy in BC and don't get time to call very often but do hope to at least get a letter from him

Hi Joni, our daughter is Ship 11 Div 067 which is the brother division to your son's division. From what I understand 067 and 068 train together and go through Battlestations21 together. We are staying at Navy Lodge as well and will be at Sarge's Meet & Greet. I have no doubt we will meet in person then. It will be nice to put faces with screen names! Our SR arrived at GL on Nov 25th and I'm out of my mind sometimes missing her. I hope she gets to call home soon!

Hi MomOf4 our son got there on the 27th we had to take him to Little Rock the 26th to meet the recruiter one last time and then drop him at the hotel that afternoon, he called me that night then when he was at the airport in Little Rock before leaving then when he got to Chicago then we got he "I'm Here" call and then he got to call on Thanksgiving, the two calls after he got there were so very short only a minute or two, I sent him phone cards and stamps so hope to hear from him I miss him so much, he was gone to college for 6 years but got to come home every weekend and holidays, he has his masters in History and is such a great boy, well man. I just want to hear his voice.

and I am sure we will meet since we are staying at the same place and the meet and greet it will be nice to put a face to your name as well, we will make it thru this just as our kids will I am so sure of that.

Hi Joni, I have been told that they get to call home after three weeks in so I am hoping either today or tomorrow is the day. We live about an hour east of Nashville so when Ashley had to report to the hotel on Sunday the rest of us (hubby and her 3 brothers) got a hotel room by the airport and spent the night so we could be at Meps with her until she shipped out. I swear I would give my right arm to hear her say "momma" ! I miss her like crazy and wonder how she is doing. She also was away for college for 4 years and then worked for 2 years in a prison (ugh!) so the Navy is sort of a blessing. I worried all the time when she was trying to counsel and "rehabilitate" inmates. She finally got to the point of realizing those guys/gals just didnt want to be better people! I will keep my fingers crossed that we both get calls this weekend!.....Where in AR are you from? My little brother lives in Centerton.

My daughter is also in this div 67 , was hoping for a call or letter today

praying we get calls tomorrow, I see some that have the same PIR date got calls today so maybe the phone banks were full and they have to wait till tomorrow

I am also waiting, Joni. Fingers are crossed for tomorrow.

I see on the other group that people are or have gotten calls today so I really hope that our kids can call tomorrow, I just need to hear my sons voice. hubby talked me into going Christmas shopping today and I am disabled an we were in the store about 45 minutes to an hour cause I knew what I wanted to get for our grand daughter and our daughter and son in law. by the time we were half way thru I was hurting so bad and wished I had just got on one of those carts that you ride around on in Walmart.  I have things to get for my son but know he cannot receive them until after PIR so may wait a little longer to get those for him, and his birthday present, oh I hope no attention is brought to him cause he will be 25 on his birthday. praying we get a call tomorrow

Our SR daughter is 25 as well, not sure why that would draw attention? I am hoping they get to call tomorrow also. Hubby and I were out all day Christmas shopping and had cell phones with us entire time and nothing. I'm staying in all day tomorrow so I hope tomorrow is the day. I know that their RDC's have to reserve the phone banks for SR's to call and maybe they were all taken for today. I sure hope it's not because their all in trouble! Jaxmom we seem to be in the minority, I don't see many people on here with SR's in Div 067 or 068.

I saw something about age 25 due to it making changes to their requirements for the PT test, and my sons birthday is in early January so hope that doesn't draw attention to him, also was out yesterday but my phone goes everywhere with me I have even been taking it to the bathroom with me just in case a call comes in so I don't miss it. I have seen one other person in div 068 but not many in those divisions so far, hope for a call today

I live in NE Arkansas, was in Nashville years ago for a pageant for my daughter where she won queen she was like 15 or 16 at the time, love it there. oh how I am missing my son, and our daughter lives 2 1/2 hours away so I have neither of them here with me or close enough to just go and see, texted my daughter yesterday about things for our granddaughter but didn't get to actually talk to her, and with my son being 8 hours away now it is so hard, I miss him so much and the dang phone hasn't rang at all today :(

was so hoping and praying for a call today, so at least his dad could talk to him as well cause the call from when he arrived my husband wasn't home from work yet and on Thanksgiving my husband was at his parents house I was sick so I couldn't go so our son hasn't gotten to say anything to his dad and his dad hasn't heard his voice. at least when he does call I can put my phone on speaker and we can both talk to him at the same call, but if it is during the week then my husband will probably be at work,

Just got a call omg
