Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 051 and 052

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I am glad to hear that you got a great letter! :D I hope the bunk mate's girlfriend is writing him, too! That would be so sad if she wasn't!

He also told me that the whole Division was Adopted for Christmas, so that's great. Thank you

That's awesome!  I am so glad to hear that!  I appreciate you letting me know that!   Made my evening!

Yeah. I wonder who is adopting them. I am so grateful for the community groups up there that open their doors to these (often young) guys and girls.

Wondering who will be adopting them, too!  We are grateful to them also!  :)

Thanks for sharing the div. info. No letter this week. I trying to go with the 'no news is good news' thoought process...but that sucks!

My son sent a quick letter.  I got it today.  I wasn't sure I'd even get one, but it was really good hearing from him!  I have been trying to stick to the "no news is good news" too.  Nearly 3 weeks since his 5-minute phone call home....if he hadn't sent a letter, I'd probably be a mess!  Hopefully you will hear from your son soon!

Thanks for letting us know about the whole division being adopted out. I will let my son know since he has no contact with them now that he is in SEPS, he was asking if I knew or not.

Hi proudmomma94! I hope things are going ok with your son, and he doesn't have to be up there much longer. I wish I would have thought to ask you about sending him a Christmas card thanking him for giving his all. I feel like these guys/gals should be recognized and congratulated for even attempting basic training. They have already jumped through so many hoops to get where they are, and I really feel like we failed to rally around him and show our appreciation toward him like we should have. I am so sorry about that!

Libertythruthem no need to apologize. I have received so much support from N4M's and I know I pray all the time for everyones loved one that has sacrificed so much already. He is hopefully coming home within the next week or so therefore the cards although a nice thought would probably not reach him. He said his mail is really delayed in getting to him anyway. I talk to him every other day so he does not even want me to write at this point which is a big switch from before. I will be sure to tell him your kind thoughts and appreciation and please do not feel the need to apologize, I know exactly how you feel and it is greatly appreciated!

I am so glad to hear that he should be home soon! Thank you for taking the time to share your heart with me. I really appreciate that! We will continue to pray for all of you and wish you all the best! Merry Christmas! :)

My sr is saying his RDC is saying he is going to be deployed shortly after A school. Has anyone else heard this from their sr? He is going to be a EN
