Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 057 and 058

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I've sent a friend request.

He called around 5:00 eastern time.  He had a security interview so he called for some phone numbers.  No news on gas chamber or Battle Stations yet. I didn't ask about hell week (I don't know what that is) and he didn't mention it.  I just saw he called again last night, but I missed it.  Our cell phones don't leave our sides, but when he called in the afternoon, we never imagined he'd call again a few hours later.  :(  My husband is going out to spend Christmas; I'm staying home because we have other sons, although grown it's a tradition for them to be home for Christmas.  Looking forward to long phone calls with my recruit on Christmas day.  I'll check in with more info then.  Praying for phone calls for every one of you, too.

Alys 1145, this is my first time through this, but from what I understand one week prior to graduation, they submit their final list for graduation. Write to him ASAP and tell him to add them.  I hope one of the veteran moms will confirm or correct this info for you.

Thank you to each and every one of you for these lifelines!

Merry Christmas to all of you and hopefully we all get calls from our SR and a special thank you for all the wonderful people who were able to adopt! Enjoy!

Pictures from the Christmas festivities for 057 & 058 are appearing on Facebook.
