Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 065 and 066

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Any of you with SR on ship 09 div 066 get a call yesterday or today?

My son is on ship09,Div066.  We have not gotten a call on Christmas, like he said.  We did just get a lettter that he wrote on 12/22, and he told us in that letter, that he would be calling on 12/25.

My SR is 09 Div 65 no calls for us... I hope they're being good!

Anybody here from their sons or daughters since 12/17?  Just trying to see what is up. Also they should be close to BS21 since they are on accelerated.

Donna019 ~ my son is on ship 09 brother division 65. He also told me on our last call that he wouldn't be calling until Christmas. That they were gonna get to call. I also have not had but one letter. I hate not knowing why. We as moms are being trained also. Trained that "No mews is good news". Light your blue candle, say a prayer and know I am doing the same for both divisions.

Thanks!  I do have my blue candle lit and am hoping that no news is good news!  My son already had a set back the first week he was there.  He ended up in the hospital from blisters he got from his boots.  He was diagnosed with cellulitis and MRSA.  He was pushed back to this new group and is very anxious to move on from boot camp.  He did tell us that he was accepted by this new group and was making new friends.  I pray that they are all doing well!  Can't wait to see them all on Jan 17th!

We also got a letter dated 22 Dec - our SR sounded good, motivated. Said they're getting ready for a very busy time before PIR - lots to learn, challenges to be met and several new areas to be tested on, and looking forward to it.  Our last call from the week before gave us the impression we would have heard from our SR by now.  Been burning our blue candle +2 ever since! As has already been said, hopefully no news is good news.  God Bless all our SRs even more in the next weeks leading up to PIR!
