Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 067 and 068

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

that is the coin I ordered too! 26 days wow.. Getting closer everyday!

I can't believe its only 26 days either. It sure is going by fast. I'm sure our daughter would not agree with that though!

still missing him so!! We are hoping for a Sunday phone call tomorrow!! We can pray no?

I was thinking the same thing. My cell phone never leaves my person! I was hoping she would call and give me a battlestations date because her division and your son's division will be the first divisions to test @ battlestations. I confirmed that that with one of the admins on here. We are thinking it will be around Jan 15th or 16th.

Mom are you flying or driving?? and are you renting a car?

I heard the same about battlestations! I thought it would be sooner BUT I guess I am wrong

djk's Mom that is awesome I cant wait to meet all of you, put faces with names, are you all going to the meet and greet Thursday night before graduation? an getting up that early to get to PIR is going to be hard, will have to make sure I take all my meds before we go, but I cant wait to see my son, I miss him so very much, hoping for a call tomorrow, and pray they all do wonderful on battle stations as it is coming up! cant believe it is going so fast, didn't think it would when he first left but it has gone fast, just not fast enough LOL

my daughter, son in law and granddaughter still don't know if they will be able to make it, since our grandbaby is only 2 she doesn't count as the 4 guests allowed so that is awesome I sure hope they can make it, need to know soon cause I want to get her a little sailor outfit for the PIR

We are planning to fly out from Florida on the 22nd and my sailor will be going to Texas for school. We are going to stay at courtyard marriot and plan on calling sarges for transportation . I have not gotten flight yet still watching prices. I can't wait to see her . Now I'm just figuring out where to go eat Friday nite, what are y'all thinking ?

I have no idea about dinner Friday night. Do most places require reservations? I wonder what's around there? Most places will probably be crowded huh? (soo many rhetorical questions! lol) I guess we better have a plan before we get there! I know the last conversation that I had with Ashley, she said that she wanted to go to our room and take a long HOT shower and veg in her comfy "civilian" sweats. We may just get pizza take out and spend alone time with her.

do you think we will get phone calls today??

djk's mom, I am praying with all my might that we get a call. Everytime she has called it has been a Sunday and later in the afternoon (3 0r 4 O'Clock) so it's going to be a long day!

also hoping and praying for a phone call, my son is not one to write letters to us cause he is able to make those calls so he writes to those he cannot call, I miss him an the time is going to be here before we know it and we will all be heading to GL for PIR and we will be able to hug our SR's and it is going to be a very proud day that is for sure, so keep those phones handy and hope we all get a call today!
