Hello ladies! I just wanted to reach out to anybody who had a recruit leave on the same date! I could really use somebody to count the days down with that understands the struggle! Anyone get a box or PIR date yet or address? I know all of this comes at once, but I kinda think his PIR date will be 2/7/14 I hope that is correct atleast. I'm fairly new to all of this I'm flooding my brain with info to help with the worry. Is it too early for phone calls? I know he wont be able to write until next Sunday probably. I began writing letters yesterday. Any advice or conversation would be great!

That is so awesome! My bf said some of the recruits in his division are still trying to get the hang of things like the rules and all so their calls and stuff are limited until everyone behaves. The call was great, but I'm looking forward to letters too I think it'll help move things along having a day to look forward to for mail like you. Glad you're doing great!

I think I'll enjoy the letters more too. I sent him a few pictures in his last one, just a few quotes and one of me. Hopefully it makes him smile a little. I just printed them out on regular computer paper and cut them into something that would fit into the folded letters, I hope that's okay. I keep wondering what on earth could they be possibly doing that is so bad then I remember they are basically in a whole different world.

Hey! My husband left the 10th of December. Ship 11 Div 090. I got the letter in the mail and his PIR date is 2/7/14.
Hey! Cool, that means he's in the brother division to the one my boyfriend is in. How's everything going for you? Will you be going to PIR?
It was extremely hard for me in the beginning, but it is getting better. I was able to speak to him today for about 5 min and he told me they have to pass all the tests in order to graduate on time. Hopefully he passes so that I can go to PIR! I'm buying a refundable ticket just incase. That's what they suggested in the letter I received. How is it going for you?
It was hard for me at first too. I talked to him Saturday and I cried the whole phone call, talk about embarrassing. I'm going with his family and we're gonna drive. A refundable ticket is a good idea, I'm sure he will do fine they are all working hard. I haven't gotten any letters yet, but he told me they didn't have a mail carrier yet but he was expecting them to get one this past Monday so maybe I'll get a letter soon. Writing him helps even if he can't respond I know he's getting them.

My boyfriend is in the same division! (Ship 11 DIV 89) So we have the same PIR date. Almost halfway through! Ive only spoken to him twice on the phone since he left on the 11th and no longer then 5 or 6 minutes each time. So Ive been going crazy cause no one in my family knows what Im going through. I got really excited to see another girlfriend in the same situation as me.

Same here! No letters yet. I write to him everyday. Hopefully he'll be able to write soon. The phone calls were so fast, I feel as if I still have not spoke to him.

The phone calls are fast and they barely have any time to write letters. But we are that much closer to graduation!

Still no letters yet?

Hey! Good to meet another girlfriend as well! How are you doing other wise? I know what you mean about your family not understanding. It makes things a little bit harder. Have you gotten any letters yet? Hopefully we can get another phone call soon. I've only talk talked to him once. I'm happy about the halfway mark if we made it this far we can make it through the rest!

Im doing pretty good! I check my countdown every morning. I havent gotten any letters because I have been on vacation since he left. Im heading back home tomorrow though so Im running straight to the mail box once I get off the plane. Last time we spoke he told me he would be calling in three weeks. Hopefully that is the same for your boyfriend. How are you doing?
