Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 067 and 068

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

sadly no phone call yesterday :(

who all is staying at the Navy Lodge for PIR? I know it doesn't have a pool but its not a big deal for us right now, just wonder who all from these 2 divisions will be staying there, I made reservations as soon as I got the form letter or very shortly after

we are at the Navy Lodge!

Good morning everyone in Div 067 & 068 --- Boy it's getting close!

I thought it might be fun if everyone shared where they will be traveling from to get to Great Lakes, how they are getting there and what their SR will be doing after graduation. I'll start...

We will be driving to GL from Nashville, Tennessee. Our reservations are at The Navy Lodge and our daughter will stay in GL for electrician's school.

Good Morning -

I can't believe I just found this site!  We are flying in from Florida and can't wait to see my son.  He will be heading to A School in South Carolina only a 4 hour drive for us to visit:).  Look forward to meeting other families.

Where can I find information on the meet and greets?  Find I am a little technically challenged on this site.

Thank you -

Hi Navymom63. This site is kinda hard to maneuver but once you're on awhile you will get the hang of it!. I'm pretty sure that on your main page to the right Sarge will post the meet and greet link when it gets closer to the 24th. He is also a member on the PIR 24-01-2014 Facebook page and can give you info there too. If you are on facebook, search Navy for Moms and you should be able to connect there once you are a member of that group.

Welcome! Glad you found us!

Momof4 we are flying from Tampa to Milwaukee, staying at America's Best Value Inn, and my son will be in Pensacola for IT. He will be in the same state as us again, but still a 9 hour drive.

we are driving in from Paragould Arkansas and staying at Navy Lodge, our son will remain in GL for A school for ET, we will be arriving on the 23rd and leaving either early Sunday or maybe extend to wait and leave Monday so we get to spend more time with our son

MomOf4 how long are you staying? are you leaving on Sunday to go back home or are you staying until Monday? we are trying to figure out what to do

We are leaving some time Sunday morning. Thought we would get our daughter and have breakfast with her then head back to Tennessee.  Now, THAT is going to be hard to do...leave her AGAIN UGH!

we planned to leave Sunday early afternoon but wasn't sure about it but I guess we will leave it the same and go ahead and leave that Sunday an oh yeah it is going to be so hard to leave him again, but at least BC will be over and they will be in school and have a little more freedom, cell phones an computers, Skype time!!!

I am going to be ordering his PIR coin but he is already an E3, so don't know if he goes up in rank after graduation, I don't think so but will have to check with him

My son is also ship 11 div 068 and we are also at the Navy Lodge! I just ordered his PIR coin for a graduation gift. So excited.. We are flying in from Long Island , New York!

My Sr will also be staying in Gl for A school.. for FN , Im not sure for how long he will be there!

I got our daughter the Kearsarge coin for graduation and it is BEAUTIFUL!! Once we get the call after Battlestations I am ordering her E3 coin and having it engraved with her graduation date. Don't want to jinx anything so I'm waiting for that call!
