Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 073 and 074
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Has anybody heard when their battle stations date is? I got a letter from my husband and he mentioned it would be in 20 days. Which would make it Jan 20 or 21.
He says they are all doing much better. Passed inspection with a perfect. Was happy to get eggnog for Christmas. lol
Only 3 more weeks left...
Our SR hasn't advise when battle stations has been scheduled. But we and they are getting closer! Has anyone received a call in the last week?
Has he told you what part he is playing in the games? My husband was chosen as 1 of the 7 for tug of war. Which is kinda funny as he is not exactly muscular built. He is extremely strong for his body build though. lol What other games do they play.
Wesmom, my son called last friday but have not heard from him this weekend. he is in 73 .... has anyone else gotten calls that you know of? just wondering .... i work midnites so i will be sleeping tommorrow and so afraid i will miss his call by being asleep... ugh!!! we are under twenty days now it is official , yeah!!!!
Risa, Battlestations happens in the last week of BC. That is there last and final test, it is a test of everything they have learned. It starts in the evening and i think it is for 10 hours. They fight fires flooding in compartments. They have to move ammunition, save people (Dummies). They have to prove they are ready for the Navy. Once done they take off their recruit caps and put on their Navy caps. That is when they make their final call home and tell us they are now Sailors in the United States Navy!!!!!!!
