Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 073 and 074
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

No I didn't find him...but many of the photos are so small you can't see individual faces even with the magnifier. The current photos were last updated about a month ago, so he may not have been assigned a division yet. Guess I'lll just have to wait for PIR! Did anyone hear what division will be shown for this week's Trivia Winner?
Hi All! Just Joined this site. My son Jean is division 073 and is graduating on the 24th. We are from Miami, FL so this storm and just an Illinois winter is a true experience for him. We last spoke to him on the 27th and he was in good spirits but with a bad cold. He said his whole division was sick with a nasty cough but they were all getting better. Can't wait to see him when we get there on the 24th. We are hoping to take him to downtown Chicago after PIR. I asked if he wanted to veg out but he wants to do the tourist thing before he leaves for A school in Pensacola. If anyone is staying in Chicago and taking the Metra for PIR let me know and maybe we can trek up there together. :)
I've been trying to follow the Facebook page for the Trivia contest, but can't determine whether Jerry's division (074) has had a picture yet. Does anyone else know if they have a picture up?
Good morning, everyone! Checked facebook also. Didn't see our SR. :( plans already made (actually weeks ago). So looking forward to seeing our son and all the SR's on their special day! Haven't heard from him since the 27th also.
that is when i last heard from mine also, Wesmom......missing him!!! cant wait !!!!! :)))
My sister said she got a letter from him today. We still haven't gotten anything. Oh well. Know they are busy. But so missing him! You going to meet n greet?
A seasoned Mom in the chat room told me the SRs have from PIR 'til about 7:30pm to spend with their loved ones....seems too good to be true...my SR said he's shipping out at 2am Sat. morning. She also said we can follow them to the airport and wait w/them for their flight.
ThackersMom, the Navy Recruit FB page has a comment from base that they are hoping to have the Trivia winner's photo posted by Monday. Still don't know which division though! We are also staying at the Naval Lodge GL and I signed up yesterday for Sarge's Meet & Greet. http://navyformoms.com/events/pir-01-24-14-sarge-s-meet-and-greet.
