Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 069 and 070
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

My son Allistair is in the 069 Division. He tried college and did not like it, so decided to join the Navy. I will be unable to attend the PIR, but will be watching it Live Stream on Friday. I have not received the "I am a Sailor!" call yet, but in his last letter this weekend, he said he only had to complete one thing for PT and he would be good. Battlestations this week; I hope all goes well for all the SR's. Good luck ladies! Have a beverage for me!! ;)
Anyone know what division won the Captain's Cup today?
Try contacting your local recruiter and see if he can update the status for you.
I have not received a phone call since Dec. 23rd, & the last letter was 2 Thursdays ago. I'm getting anxious to get the I'm a Sailor call, hopefully by Tuesday! Is anyone else concerned about the road conditions? I am watching them online like a hawk! We fly into Midway Thursday morning & from what I'm reading, it's best not to take the toll roads to Great Lakes
, but surely that's the best way to go. Any thoughts on this? http://wrc.gettingaroundillinois.com/pages/wrc.htm
I also have not recieved a phone call since the 23rd of december. But he did check his facebook yesterday and put a little note on there I am so excited to c all these young men and women but mostly to hug my son. I have my trip all mapquested out and should do just fine. c you all friday
I apologize if I posted information about the BS dates. It was just informing the mom's and loved ones of Ship 13, Div. 069 recruits to what was going on in this final week. Again, I apologize. Got another call from my son today, and he sounded great and looking forward to tomorrow! PT is going to be completed today. Yea!!!!
I've been running around the house for the past couple hours trying to make sure I have everything packed that I need and Riley will need. 2 1/2 hours!! Candle burning!
SO Excited Anxious Proud Antsy!
Looking forward to seeing our Sailors on Friday!! One of those time when I want time to speed up but want it to slow down too because I don't want the time with him to go by too fast!!
Safe travels everyone!!
