Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 069 and 070

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Ship 13 Marvin Shields Div 070 moms- my SR has not been receiving our mail. I don't know why. He has up until a week and a half ago. His letters are heart breaking. Anyone else out there having issues? We write everyday and take it to the Post Office. I don't get it.

My son is on Ship 13 Div 070 and we received several letters today from him. It sounds like he got a back up of letters on the 31st (he received 21 letters). I think the weather has a lot to do with the delay in them receiving mail. I know the mail seems to be what keeps them going. I'm sure it will all catch up soon. My son mentioned "Hell week would start Wednesday the 8th. We should be getting the "I'm a sailor" call in the next few days. Hang in there...it's almost over.

Thanks! I feel like I'm in the dark have not heard from my son, just the last call on the 30th when he mention that he might not graduate on time. The recruiter mention he is still on for the 1/24. I can't wait to get the call, I miss him so much..

I really think they keep them on their toes all the way till the end. I know my son mentioned that if he didn't do well on the written tests and battle stations he would have to go back through. They will all do great! Before you know it, you will hear is voice telling you he is a sailor. There is a great  YouTube video that shows you exactly what they will be doing during Battle Stations.

Less than two weeks to go!! :-)

If anyone knows the date of 070 Battlestations will you inbox me please..
I would like to know that as well hismom13. I read somewhere last week that they started Hell Week on the 8th. I would assume that means they should be Battleship tomorrow?? Does that logic makes sense?
Moms from Ship 13 Div 070 can you let me know who you are. I will be attending Sarge's meet and greet. Any one else going? I would love to talk and share experiences.

I have received very few dates from this group for BattleStations (I keep a schedule in each PIR group and have been doing this since early in 2010---but get my dates from you all).  If anyone hears of a date, please friend request/message it to me.

Hello! My name is Cristina and I will be attending Sarge's meet and greet on Thursday. My son is in DIV 070 and right now I am very nervous about battle station. I know is about to happen or already happened. I don't know anything from my son since December 23rd and his letters are vague. I would love to meet you over there and share experiences.
If my son calls me I will immediately poste a comentario so everybody knows how is everything going. Please! !!! Do the same!

Will do! No worries!

road should be fairly decent at this point we are driving from michigan and the weather looks good thus far

As of right now all the roads are good - we except for the pot holes created from the last snow storm but they are working to fill those.  According to the 10 day forecast there are chances for snow tomorrow Saturday and next Tuesday.  It's cold and is only going to be highs of 20 graduation day.
