Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 073 and 074

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Thanks MOMom! A young man from our town graduated a few months back and his sister told me he had to be back on base before 8 pm after graduation then he had to go to the airport at 3 am for a flight that didn't leave until later that afternoon. .. sounds like what you heard! Of course his recruiter told me he wouldn't know when his flight was until the week of graduation. .. where is your son going after bc? I'm assuming everyone going to florida will be on the same flight? I usually get letters on Saturday's. .. hopefully I will get some information then!
My son is going to San Antonio to train as a hospital corpsman.

Our son is also going to San Antonio. Corpsman also. Missing him lots!

8 days to go!!! Praying for all the SRs

I am booked at the Navy Lodge. We are getting in on Wednesday night but I haven't rsvped for Sarge's because my SR's girlfriend is scheduled to come in Thursday night so we may need to pick her up from the airport.

I have been pricing out rental cars and they are so expensive. I can't get one away from the airport because our flight comes in too late and the rental companies are closed. I haven't figured out what to do yet.

My SR is staying at Great Lakes for A school so hopefully we will be able to sightsee with him. We're there until Sunday night.

If you look for Sarge on the right of your screen.  He has a shuttle from the airport from what I understand.  He holds the meet and greet on thursday night.  He also does the shuttle to PIR on friday.

When should I expect the "I'm a Sailor" call? My boyfriend didn't give me any details about it..

They probably won't know for sure until Battlestations is called.

Thanks!

Got letter yesterday from our SR!  He said the 17th (today) was the last day we could write. They and we are getting closer!

Okay, division  073, private message me our battlestation date:))))  I have actually heard two different nights  so once again confused.....LOL:))) Thankyou , Ladies!!!!
