Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 073 and 074

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I have not received my Official Letter Form and my son is scheduled to graduate Jan 24. He is on Ship 14 Division 074. Not sure what to do.

Melissa, I would contact the recruiter and ask him what you should do .......You should have gotten that several weeks ago if you are talking of the 'form letter' but with the holidays it could have gotten lost in the mail but you will need your password for your gate passes etc. but yes, it should be fine but tomorrow I would contact your recruiter and ask them what to do about this.  hang in there.... no news is good news .....big hug

Hello Ladies!  Has anyone gotten their "I'm a Sailor" call yet?  We are on pins and needles around here!!  Thought maybe at Sarge's Meet & Greet we could put our N4Ms "name" on our name tag in addition to our real name so we can identify each other...would certainly love to meet some of you all there! :-)

I just joined this group. My son is in Ship 14, Div 73. We haven't heard from him in several weeks. Hope the "I am a sailor" call comes soon!

Not unusual for them not to call home during the last two weeks.  073 is a push division, I think because of the holidays so they are really very busy finishing up.  They do in 6 weeks what everyone else does in 8.  You should get your call if they even have a chance to call closer to the end of the week.  My son is also in this division.  He said in the last letter that the last two weeks were going to be really busy.

on FB, a couple of the divisions are calling tonite.... I believe they said 69 and 70 but....... I also heard that 073 won the captains cup ..... so..... not sure if everyone is getting a call or just 69 nd 70. My son said the same thing..... busy busy busy!!! I keep neurotically staring at my phone , LOL

Thats what I heard too. About the captains cup.  Not sure how that info got relayed.  But don't feel bad my phone has become part of my hand!!!!!

I just want to see my sons face then I will be able to breath!!!!

I'm not letting my phone go below a 50% charge just in case! We're almost there!! Can't wait to see my SR!
This waiting is not easy! When will we hear from our sailors?

They will be the last divisions to call most likely. Reason I am staying away from other division pages. Going to drive me crazy seeing everyone else's division getting calls.

yes, that is a great idea.....:)    I would love to meet  all the moms who have held me up  in this process!!!
