Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Questions about first duty station move.Any info is greatly appreciated
Hello all! My Husband and I got married while my sailor was in A school. He updated page 2 but for some reason it didn't happen and we had one heck of a time finding it out ( my son and I weren't on his orders) ughhh so now my husband reported to our new home without us so he could get it all handled but now they told him that they will NOT be paying for our belongings to our new home because we were not married before boot camp, Does anyone have any experience with this. Is it true.... also does anyone know how long it will take to update the page 2. Thank you

Hi :) I had a similar experience. We were married between A school and his first duty station and the move was not paid for.
They will not pay if he has already arrived to his duty station and you are not already on his page two. I was given the advice to get married with enough time to add me to his page two, before receiving his orders.
Were you married before or after he received his orders? -

almost 3 months prior to getting his orders. it was said that they mest up the paper work

How far into A school did you get married? His page 2 should be updated pretty much immediately, and it is not true that you have to be married before bootcamp for it to count. But if you got married after his orders were already in motion, it would have been too late to add you...which is what this sounds like. It takes weeks to assign and process orders, so they most likely started the process when he was considered a single Sailor. And yes, because he already checked in at his duty station, they probably will not give you any money to move.
He should however have a HHG (household goods) move. My husband flew to his duty station (we were engaged) so he still had a HHG move to cash in on. We could have used that when we moved me and all of our belongings out to his station. The only way this will work for you though, is if all your belongings (his and yours) are together at his home of record. Because technically, he's moving HIS stuff, not yours. And it would probably have to be a DITY (do it yourself) move.

We got married in November he turned in the paper work that ssame week. He received his orders Mid January . Yes all his and my belongings are here in the same home.
