Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 915 and 916
Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hi, loveHR.
You can find the listing of the jobs and that will point you to the location of the A school. I still don't know what my son's job rating is so I am very concerned and confused. I am staying at the Navy Lodge and flying into Chicago, then renting a car. Just praying weather will be on our side. The Navy Lodge was recently renovated and fairly inexpensive.
Do you know what rating (job) your SR went into BC with? There are many A Schools in GL, and for some they start in GL and have ATT before moving on to A School.
Hello Everyone!
I know each SR will get 4 tickets for the actual ceremony, but does anyone know if there is a waiting area or anything where extra people can see them after graduation?
You won't get actual tickets for PIR, just the names on the list. After PIR the sailors will have liberty and they can leave base. Those who are flying out of GL for school can leave almost immediately. Those staying in GL for school must move over to the TSC side before they can leave.
Those not attending can watch PIR on livestream, and then see them afterwards. There is not a place on base for them to wait.
So excited, I received 2 letters from my SR in one day from my son. Appeared that one of the letters was held back. But I have it now so I am happy. We are really looking forward to PIR 02-28-14, counting down the weeks. Reserved Sarge's Meet & Greet too.
I hope that means I will see a letter tomorrow. My SR said he wrote to his cousin almost 2 weeks ago, but his cousin hasn't seen any letter yet. Hopefully he will see his tomorrow and I will get one too :) I can't believe we are only 3 weeks away!!
Can someone in 915/916 friend request or message me the date you have heard for BattleStations? I have read of 2 different dates....thanks.

Ship 02 Div 916 2-28 PIR???
I haven't heard from my daughter in a while and the last thing she said was she wouldn't be able to talk until 2-17. So naturally I am a bit worried. Has anyone else heard from the SR's?

Hi Ellen,
I haven't heard from my son since Jan. 28.
Tori
Yeah. Just got 2 letters in the mail today! My son said he is doing great and can't wait to see us at Graduation. Hard to believe it is next Friday :)
