Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 107 and 108

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Yay! That's awesome. It does feel so good to see their writing and hear what they all have to say. Love all the different point of views of bootcamp. Can't wait til next month! And to meet everyone I have been building relationships with!

Staying at the Navy Lodge but not old enough to rent a car. ): It's just me.

Probably going to take a taxi to PIR and around. Anyone know about this Sarge fellow and his taxi service?

Hey I'm Lisa nice to meet you, I'm not renting car either were gonna be using taxi sarge.. It's gonna just be 2 of us...haven't booked room yet not sure where to stay!!!

Hi Lisa!! I'm not a mom, my boyfriend is a recruit in Division 108. Hope I fit in this group still, haha.
I still miss him terribly!

If you're not renting a car then stay somewhere closeby! Be sure to call different hotels and ask how far they are from base. I'm staying at the Navy Lodge because it's only about a mile from base. $66 a night is a great price and they have nice reviews.

You fit in perfectly, I'm not mom either I'm nana/mom, it's a long story! I will be coming with his girl friend so I want to stay close also.... When are you flying in?

I'm getting into ORD at 8:32pm on Thursday. Kinda late, I know, but I'm faaaar away (Colorado). It will be a long flight.

I was a recruit girlfriend about 19 yrs ago! It was so hard when he was in BC. Worse becuz I was pregnant. Just reassure him that you luv him and miss him. You are more than welcome in the group. Sarge's number is in a discussion somewhere on here. Ask and someone will point you in the right direction.

Sorry?

Looks like we have a pretty active group (Ship 09 Div 107 and 108) of Moms, wives, girlfriends and Significant others.

I hope our SR's are bonding well too.

I am so counting the days to PIR.  I am a mom.  There will be three or four of us sitting in the bleachers for Graduation.  My husband and I and My SR's younger and possibly older sister. My son inlaw and grandson will wait at the motel.  Kind of a bummer because my son inlaw is a Staff Seargent in the Air force. It would be so cool if he could attend too.    I understand the rules though and we will just make the most of our family time after PIR.

My son is 21 and is signed on for the NUKE program.  Sounds like we may have limited time as they are a possible Grad and Go.

Thanks again to everyone here and lets hope for some phone calls.
