Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 919

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Navymom I also read somewhere that they can't make phone calls until after chapel, although I guess phone calls can be unpredictable. I am really hoping my husband doesn't call while I am in the middle of church.

Hi just got a call from our daughter. She is sick. She had to be on an IV because she had bad stomach issues(you know what I mean) but,she a trooper and I tolsd her to do BRAT and eat fiber foods. She said she's a flag bearer and she'll be in 3 ceremonies.  She said she's not freezing(she HATES the cols) so that's good. So good to hear from her!!!!!!! Hope everyone else gets a call too, praying!

She also said today was the first day she could write and she recieved our letter, but not a letter her aunt sent her.

Div 919- Quick update...Just got off the phone with my son, pray all of you received a call too.

My husband just called!!!!!! He is sick too but trying to accomplish everything. He told me lots of the younger guys are coming to him for advice. My husband is from France and he told me many of the recruits are asking him questions about Paris and planning hopeful trips to Europe with my husband as tour guide. I'm so happy to hear from him.

Hi everyone, I got my call!!!!! div 919. My son is doing good.. It was great to hear from him.. He sounded great, but tired..  He said he has good people in his div.  I hope you all get to hear from your SR's He said this might be the only time they get to call until 2 weeks before graduation.. take care everyone!!

Did everyone get a call from their SR?  I am starting to really worry here, no call, no letter, only the box.  I wonder if he's having problems..maybe he can't get through since the call would be an international call and the phone service here is not so dependable.  But no letter???  I should get him to call a friend that lives in the USA so they can email me.  Sorry everyone just rambling here.

I am so happy for those that have spoken to their SR.  Please keep posting whatever they tell you about their division and how they are doing.

June, my husband shared that they were only allowed to send mail on Sunday, which means nothing went out in the mail until yesterday, I'm sure if you weren't able to receive a call he will have been able to write.

Hi everyone, hope all is good.. Any of the div 919 or pir for 3/21/14 from ohio???

I received a letter from my husband today and he wrote that the RDCs are aiming at their division being a Hall of Fame division. He wrote they have to work much harder because of this. I have no idea what that means exactly but I'll be praying for them.

Hi Nicksmom, I am sorry you have not heard from your son and his wife will not give you the address or division.

The best anyone can do for you is pass the message along that you are looking for him, and ask that he send you the information. The members here cannot pass that along to you!!

Hi All,

I just talked to my son tonight and he is not doing well.  He has a problem with his back and was put on light duty.  He had X-rays done and will see them next Tuesday. He is saying that he will get medically separated.

Does anyone know what this means as far as if he will be able to return to the navy if he gets discharged?

I am so distraught over this situation.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
