Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 107 and 108

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Well at least y'all get the call first lol... I'm still waiting to here his voice. It does suck but I already knew this...
I don't like my big girl panties in this situation..lol! But I have gotten 2 call to him getting 0!!! I know he is soo jealous! I do share with the ex what we talk about. I have to show him I'm more mature!
I'm pretty sure that's why he is only so far calling his gf, it's sad... I know how to share.. Lol

PineViewRanch - My son is sick, too. :-(  Must be a cold going around. So glad you heard from your son!

What a joy and a blessing to have received those phone calls. Like many of you, words can't explain how happy I was to hear my son's voice. I missed his first phone call.

He has a sore throat, but said he'll be alright. My daughter's and I put him on speaker. We were amazed at how different he sounded. His voice is deeper and there is definitely a subtle maturity about him that made me forget he was only 18. He asked for a few of his friends phone numbers, pictures of his closest friends and for us to write a lot! Hearing him say that almost made me cry, but I choked back the tears. His sister's and I reassured him that we've been writing everyday. I could also hear the yelling in the background for them to get off the phone. He seemed as disappointed as we were. Apparently, he will get 48 hours liberty after PIR. YAY!!!

Ladies, let's all do a celebration phone call dance! LOL!

Kimlkove- I will ask him in a letter who his friends are there. I'm sure they talk to each other. I know we aren't really allowed to post names but still! That's exciting to know our recruits are getting along.(:

I just want to say THANK YOU, to all of you for being here! This has been a lifesaver. And this page especially, we are all in the same division, so it's nice to hear from everyone about their kids experiences! I hope more moms find out about this site. I am also on the navy for moms Facebook page. That's been really helpful too! So keep the stories coming!
Yes, you did! When I talked to my son, he said he asked your son what his mom name was..haha! He said he gave him a funny look . So he told him how we talk on here! He said your son is cool and they talk quite a bit! It's so nice to know they are making friends. And that we are getting to know one another! Are you able to come to the meet and greet the night before. We are staying at courtyard Marriott. Which is right down from it, I hear...

Received a call this evening too!!!!  I noticed on some of your post that your recruits are sick.  Mine is sick too, cold and cough. He was sick when he called last Saturday too.  I guess they are just passing everything back and forth to each other, poor guys.  It was great to hear my boys voice.  :-)

My ex got a call from our son tonight. He got 25 minutes with him :(
