Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 095 and 096

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Look how far we have come now Momma! Just around the corner, right? <3 Hugs to you today!

Hi. My son is ship 03 Div 095. I can't wait to see him. Any other moms out there from this unit?
Yes, my son is in the same division. I can not wait until Friday!

Good morning all! I spoke to my daughter yesterday during an information call and she said Chief might allow them to make calls on February 14th.  Yay!!  I'm so curious as to what's going on at the moment.  Thank God we should get letters today.  ;-))  Just wanted to keep you in the loop with any updates.  If anyone else has spoken to their SR and gotten some insight as to how our SRs are doing please share.  ;-))

Thanks for the update! Unfortunately my mailman let me down today and delivered nothing. Guess it's payback for making him pick up mail every single day. ;-) I'll check back in tomorrow. Only 3 more weeks!!!

Yeah I can totally see my son doing that lol. My son said they got their dress blues on tues. he also said they did a training thing called bases. He said it was fun but hard.

New update. I spoke to my daughter again today because she was in the hospital for the wisdom teeth removal. She said 096 did really well on Marlinspike - actually got a life jacket in the "water" for the man overboard drill and scored a 10 out of 10 for the exercise. It didn't earn them a flag because it was practice for BST-21. Unfortunately there was a trainer timeout called for the PFA. No weapons training but they were doing a mock fire drill today and the real one on Monday. Too bad my SR missed today because now she'll miss Monday as well. Guess she'll do the makeups with another division. That's it for now. I think my mailman hates me. Have a nice evening all!

Hey kkjetz, hope your SR feels better soon. Glad to hear their div is doing good, 10 out of 10 thats great practice or not.

Thanks for the well wishes for my SR. I think she was stressing a lot about the impending surgery so now that it's over hopefully she'll bounce back quickly. The mailman has been forgiven since he brought me my letter today. I am so proud of all the SRs who make it through BC. There is a lot going on, a lot of changes, and a lot of discomfort and yet you persevere. May God keep you strong!
I'm just hoping we get the calls on the 14th. I'm hungry for 096 news!

None from 95 either. Letters are still coming each week, but no phone calls. I heard that some of the 900 divisions are getting liberty for some kind of Parade they are performing in on the 14th, so maybe (keeping fingers crossed) they can make a call that day? Wouldn't that just complete your Valentine's Day Momma? It would mine!

Just got a letter from my son. He says things are going good, but they probably won't be able to call until the end of next week. That would be a great Valentine gift.........
