OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 810 and 811

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Sorry about your husbands leg.  I hope he is up and back to business soon.  But I imagine it was nice getting to talk with him for that short time.

Hello veteran mom and newbies!  I am a newbie, son in 810.  Just curious about their timeline while at boot camp.  He has been there almost 2 weeks.  Will they have already had that initial PST?  Do they do generally what the other companies do except for the extra PT?  Just curious questions I thought maybe somebody can answer... lol

My husband called and I missed it!!! OMG!! I hope he gets to call back
so i got acall from my husband today, but it wasnt the sweet call ive been waiting for.. it was needing me to fax over marriage certificate info, and he was in an office with someone, so he couldnt talk, jus about theinfo he needed. that was almost harder then no call, cuz they jus sound like a robot... all business ...but he said he will be calling me with in a few days! soo im tbinking monday the holiday... thats my hope!!
I seriously missed his call by two minutes. I was blow drying my hair. Still no call back so I don't guess I'll get another one today. I'm really beating myself up over this.

Brittany, that does suck, but hey maybe it was jus like my call, that they need marriage info....we gave all that to the receuiter, but they needed it again I guess...it was nice to hear his voice, but the real call is what im waiting for, this was just a tease!

It might've been because he didn't bring any of that stuff with him because the recruiter had copies. I'd still love to hear his voice so maybe he'll get to call back.

We just found out today ours is 811 too!

D hunter, I did but missed it. My husband is ship 4 div 810. And Lisa's husband got one but it was for paperwork. I seen on the other page that another woman got one from her daughter who is also in the 800s.
Maybe it's just 811 hasn't made any ... ?
I didn't get a phone call today :( my husband is in 810 - still anxiously waiting!
Bkm- hope you get one. I got my form letter today so I've had a good day.
