Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 810 and 811

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Gezz if ya want a good cry, look up the song  Three doors down - when im gone .... good song !!

My husband didnt mention anything about calling, he did tell me that they should be able to have tomorrow to write on there free time. Maybe you'll get the phone call you've been waiting for, i hope so!!

okay so, for those that were asking, my husband got to GL 02/06 he's in Ship04 DIV811, i received his box & form letter on the same day 02/13...Later on that evening he contacted me and told me he was in the hospital with a cellulitus infection in his leg :( it was bittersweet. I was soo relieved to hear from him, but of course worried about his condition and upset that i couldnt be with him. He assured me that the hospital took amazing care of him, he quite enjoyed all the perks (especially the internet & phone access), aside from his IV...Tonight he ended contact and is hoping to return to his DIV in the morning & we are both praying he hasnt fallen too far behind. It would suck if he gets rolled to the next PIR date...Anyway, I just thought id share the latest news...I hope you are all doing alright & hopefully most of you have recieved your form letters & boxes so we can all send those amazing SRs our love :)

Good morning all,

I have not received a call from my Div 800 son. I'm hoping today or tomorrow, since it is a holiday.

Lovels, praying that your husband will be able to PIR with his division.

I hope everyone has a Blessed Sunday.

Good morning!
My son is in div 810. It's been a tough couple of weeks. My daughter is also currently in bc. Her PIR is 3/7/14. She called the first two Sundays she was gone...and then nothing since her 1/2 way through call on Jan 31. We do get a letter each week though..and that helps so much!
I am really hoping we may get a call today from our son and/or our daughter. At least I know my son can start writing letters and can look forward to that by the end of the week.
Praying for our sons/husbands as they go through this experience together. I am sure great friendships will develop that will last a lifetime.
I am glad we are all in this together! Are you all in the FB group for the 800 division or our PIR group?
Blessings to all!
Any other AIRR moms?
Yes my son is AIRR :)

what is AIRR?

Aviation Rescue Swimmer
Mine too

Either airport will work. :) We flew into Midway and had no trouble, it was a little further, but not enough to make a big deal.

While Sarge's transportation is great for PIR etc, you will find it much more economical to rent a car even for the whole weekend. Transportation from the airport to the hotel runs approx $90 and you can find rental care deals for around $150 for the entire weekend.

Walking to everything is not really an option, main streets no sidewalks in all areas. Some hotels are within walking distance to restaurants etc, but you will find the convenience or the car much better.

I'm planning to use public transportation from O hare to Navy Lodge, there are trains and buses. I'm not sure about the Meet and greets
