While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 810 and 811
Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).
sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.
Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.
Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.
We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

My SR is also DIV 811... Waiting for a call or letter -- but am ok -- taking the stance that 'no news is good news'. I pray all our SR's do well...

He needed bank info ... U could tell he couldn't talk... But while I was getting his bank info I chatted up a storm !!!! He said he hadn't got any of my letters yet but I asked if he wrote and he said Sunday .... -

Hey Bonnie! Can't wait! Still in Indiana... hoping to leave to go home in the next couple of days. Hopefully in time for a letter to be in the mail! Just trying to stick with no news is good news where he is concerned! This whole episode with my parents has set back my weight loss plans... lol Oh well! I will just be glad to see 3/28 get here!

Hi Mommas and Wives of Division 810!
I got a letter from my SR today!!! I've been doing the happy dance for 15 minutes! So excited. :)
There were two in the envelope. The first one was from day 3 and it was barely legible. In fact there are words I can't make out. He was exhausted. 40 hours with no sleep. He said it's a culture shock.
They can only write letters on Sunday. He said he wants me to send pictures of everyone at home, including the dogs. It sounds like he is getting mail.
He said he doesn't know anyone by their first name, only last names. If you private message me your son's/husband's last night, I'll ask if he knows them.
He says 810 is not easy; they are expected to do things faster than the other divisions. He's making friends; there are 60-70 guys in his division. Food is good, three meals a day and the brownies are DELICIOUS! Food is what is getting him through the day. LOL. He's counting down the days tip PIR as well. He says to keep him updated with events of the outside world.
I hope this puts some of your minds at ease. I am on top of the world with his handwritten letter. You will definitely know it's a letter from your SR by the Navy envelope. :)
