Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 095 and 096

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My letter says that this past week was Hell Week and that they had a busy week with 3 inspections, PFA, Marlinspike and a trial run of  of small arms assessment. They have earned four flags and have two more possible this week for firearms and seamanship. Keeping my fingers crossed for them! Revelry was at 4:30 each day during Hell Week, so we had some pretty tired SRs.

He also said he had a 2 am. watch shift where he had to walk around the barracks and listen to the guys snore and talk in their sleep for two hours, lol! He had only 4 hours of sleep that day because after watch shift was over, revelry was 30 minutes later so he just stayed awake and hit the rack that night at 10pm. zzzzzzz....

They did marching drills for 7 hours straight one day but he says they learned a lot about marching as a unit

Overall, it seems like they are doing well and are on track for a good two weeks of team work and prepping for Battlestations.

It's almost over ladies!  We have so got this under wraps!!!

Two weeks from today we will have already hugged their necks multiple times by now!

That's right 2 more Friday's and we can hug our sailors.

flight booked check, hotel booked check, rsvp to Sarges event check, excitement overflowing check check!!!

Is it time yet LOL

Do you know how they can "earn" calls? I am going crazy, it'll be 3 weeks tomorrow since I have heard her voice!

At this point in time, I don't know that they can earn calls. This is crunch time for them.

Division 095! They were getting ready for uniform inspections. :)

That's an awesome pic ellen0502! How on earth did you get it? Div 095 is the brother division to my daughter's 096. The boys look like they're ready for their Navy ball caps!

It is posted on the RTC FB page. The person who won the Tuesday Trivia last week has an SR in this division, so this is the picture of that division.

My son is in this group but not pictured:(. Would they let me know if he was sick or something ?

It could be for a number of reasons, all of which would not be anything serious, watch, errand running etc. Not to worry.

Same with my son. I was so disappointed when I realized he wasn't in the picture. :(

I love that picture my boy looks so grown up it made me cry!!!!

One week everyone! I cannot WAIT to see my husband!
