Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 810 and 811

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Dear DoxieMom:

I'm so excited you received letters from your SR & I'm sure we all celebrate with you :)  My son is also in his division so I'm anxious as well.  My son's penmanship is absolutely horrible (lol) and I'm sure his will be totally illegible but I may frame it like a Picaso.  Can't wait to get to put names and faces together on 3/28.  We're driving from 'Bama so we're having to head up on Wednesday.  Praying for each of you and our precious ones everyday.  Be strong Moms....our guys (and gals) are doing great things!!!

Hi, caustinrn...  I am driving up from 'Bama as well.  We'll be leaving early Thursday morning.  Hopefully, early enough to be there in time for the meet & greet.  I am wondering if your son is the one my son met & roomed with in Montgomery the night before he left.  I am certain they are both in the 800 division.  He said it was kind of an uncanny situation because the first person he ran into had the same type of contract & wound up being roommates.

Oh!!!  Wonderful!!  So glad to get some... ANY... information on how things are going!  :o)  My son, as you know, is in 810 as well.  Thank you so much for sharing!  I got my phone, by the way.  I just finished activating it, so everything is good.  Hugs!

im so excited to get a letter from my husband, I cant wait anymore!!! Im in IL also, thought today would be my day..:-( maybe tomorrow!!

Aww I'm so happy for you!! Hopefully that means I'll get one by the end of the week.. I was really looking forward to one when I got home today but oh well. Lol

We got our letters as well I was also doing a Happy Dance with a whole lot of tears flowing lol i am an emotional wreck it seem like. lol He said the first days with no sleep were really hard even falling asleep as he was standing up walking. breaks my heart but i guess it comes with the training.I am glad to hear that your son has requested you to send pictures. I was going to send some but wasn't sure. I will next time.He really misses his dog.

My husband is 810 too!!! Hoping for tomorrow I get the first letter...

Hey I see your husband must also be going for Diver?? Yay! It seemed like I coudnt find a diver wife out there... I hope we get letters and calls soon!

I know you all are anxious to meet each other, but I would recommend that you do not give out personal information to others you have just met here on this site. YOU REALLY DO NOT KNOW WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO!!!

OPSEC and PERSEC are a huge deal for everyone, but this group even more so than the others in BC. Be careful when sharing. No last names, no home phone numbers etc,.

"Loose lips sink ships"

Liberty, Nope you are not a nerd. :) When your sailors are out in the fleet you all will find most of the time you will not know where they are going until they reach their destination, and then you may never know exactly where they are and what they are doing.

Don't be afraid to post, but do be diligent about what you post and the information you give on a public forum, and social media.

God Bless America, Our Sailors and Navy for Moms aka N4M.

I got my letter today it made my day!!! or actually my week!!!! I hope you all get letters today, it makes it l better! cant wait for the next set!!!
