Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 123 and 124
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Prayers and hugs for your speedy recovery :)
thank you, I'm all better now:-) Hearing my SR's voice was the great panacea, a cure for all! Yes, the call was completely unexpected. I missed the first ring and I'm glad he tried again and answered that! Ladies keep your cellphone next to you at all times. I hope that you get your phone call too!
That's awesome!! I'll have to remember all that to I can keep up with him when he calls :) I've heard calls have been rec'd from Div's 122 & 123 - My SR is in 124 - I am so anxious to get my phone call!!! I got a call yesterday from Il, 847 area code - all but jumped out of my skin to ans. it on the first ring...it was the hotel with a question on my reservation...so cruel haha
Crystal DTMsMom - my son is in 124. I got to speak with him on Saturday for a bit. He said he had written me, but i stillhavent received anything from him. i have sent him a number of letters and have shared his address with many to keep letters of love and support coming his way. He indicated that 124 had a long wait - to fill up(?)maybe, but they were only in the first couple of days of week 1 (and last Friday was the 3rd one). He left from Dallas on 1/29.
I am so gald to hear someone has finally heard from Div 124!! Not to mentin you were able to talk a bit :) thank you, I really needed to hear some news! That does make sense, my son left from Maine on 1/28 - I got the "I'm ok" call around midnight (EST) on the 29th. I did read about that, having to wait to fill sometimes and that other divions start sooner than others, I think perhaps at some point they wait for the rest to catch up. Thank you again, I feel a bit more at peace now!
I was out of touch for a few days, able to read everyone's posts, but unable to respond - i get the communication through my email account, but have to be on N4M site to respond (?). I am sure there is a correct way, i am just not savvy enough to know how. How old is your SR? mine is 28, so he's one of the older ones there. Said he got sickly after one of the shots but is fine now. They have reduced numbers a few but he indicated all was seemingly good. I was sooo afraid he was going to be 'down in the dumps'.
Mine is 21, he is enlisted as an E3 because of his college credits. I miss him tons and I fear he isn't going to write or call. I am glad to hear yours is doing good :)
I got my call last Sat. My son is in div 123 graduation 3/28/14 ship 13
He sounds good. :) He is home sick and misses friends and family. He said the workouts are not too bad. They are warm food is goo. He did not there are some sloppy talkative folks in his gorup they may delay graduation :(
Has ANYONE heard anything from our boys?
I got my call last Sat. He is doing well. My son is in 123 ship 13 is anyone else's son in this group? I would love to compare notes and get more information on how our kids are doing.
Best
Tammy
