For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 103 and 104
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Hey ladies!!! I couldn't get on her earlier today, but my SR told me when their Battlestation date is!!!! I know we can't post it on here, but just message me if you want to know. I'm so excited to talk to my SR once he makes the I'm a Sailor call!!!

Good morning ladies,
I have a question. My son went in as an E3 and will be a Seabee after A school. I want to make a sign for him and put his rate and rank on it but my husband says he will not be a Seabee (so I can't put CM) on it until after A school. So what should I put on the sign? Is constructionman okay?

My first question is a sign for your hotel? Asking because signs are not allowed at PIR.
Your husband is correct his rating will not be CM (construction mechanic) after graduation he will be a CN (constructionman).

My sr is graduating on 3/14/14.. I am planning on coming to graduation.. Do I dress formal... what time is graduation? How soon do we get to the graduation and sign in.. Will there be signs saying where div 104 is

I want to say thank you to all the ladies here. This adventure has been incredibly hard on me and ya'll have given me so much support. I honestly thought I could handle this better. Silly me! My husband was a Seabee for 22 years so I thought it would be similar. Its not. I was a command Ombudsman for 11 years. I know how the military works. I thought I would understand this process. I don't. Mostly I thought I would stop crying after a few days. I haven't. I am a strong, confident woman, who has packed up and moved out of the country with less than 24 hours notice. By myself with a 2 year old. I can handle anything. We were stationed overseas when 9/11 happened and we had no clue as to what was going on except that the base was on radio silence, electric was turned off and we were not allowed out of our house. I handled that fine. But this has turned me into a scared mess. When I dwell on my fears ya'll have offered me real encouragement ( I worry constantly about my SR. . My SR is my one and only, just turned 18 2 weeks before he left, and as headstrong and stubborn as the come. Not exactly the moldable type. I want him to succeed in whatever he choses but selfishly I want him to come home.) Karin417-14/DIV104 you have been incredible. For those who have shared your letters...Thank you so much! Most importantly ya'll have made me feel like I am not going through this alone. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Wow woman ! You are incredible! Thank you for your husbands and your service! No wonder your so concerned, you've lived it! You know! Of course it a totally different experience when it's your child, this is the outlet along w friends and family to help you get through this, def a roller coaster ride for all of us, but for you knowing so much about service life I would think it would be much more emotional! Praying for you and your SR everyday! Gods in control! JEREMIAH 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,declares The Lord, plans to prosper you,not to harm you, plans to give you Hope and a Future.
