OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 810 and 811

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

I booked our room the same day we got the very first  letter. I am soo excited as well. It would be nice to meet other moms before going to.

We are 811.  Still waiting on my letter.  So thankful for all the moms who are hear to guide all of us "newbies".

Good morning moms (and wives)!

My son is in Divison 810.

N4M is my lifeline. Thanks so much for all of the valuable information.

Our son is also in Div 810. I am new to this site and think I am going to like it

My son is 811 and I got his box yesterday but still waiting on letter.

There will be a couple other "vet" moms that will be joining this group and discussion that had BC 800 division sailors. The 800 divisions have a little different training then the rest of the divisions, and the ones joining can help you with those questions, and give you more info.

I see some of you have changed your setting to show your profile to private, the rest of you should also do so. While it is not "required" it is highly suggested, so please do so. :)  Your profile settings are located in the box on the top right of the screen, make sure you set everything to private. Please also read the OPSEC rules and Navy for Moms rules and guidelines (as everyone should).
