Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 141 and 142

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Oh its nice to get to know moms that have sons getting to know my son. Wish I knew about this sooner. It is great to have this outlet. I have found out more the last two days than I have thru this whole process. Thank you all for support. Its great talking with ppl who understand what you are going thru. Everyone else looks at me like im a crazy person bc Im crying missing him and worrying. This is just great!

Hi Everyone, My son is in 142. So glad to meet you and celebrate that there is one less Friday until we meet our Sailors. Come on 4/11!!!

Proudmominjersey.. Yes 1 less Friday!! It will go by quickly!!

Hey Hannah.. Welcome!!

Moms that got call, I know we were all relieved..

My heart goes out to the ones that missed theirs.. Hang in their moms,
.. my son said Most of the week was sitting around waiting while they do the medical stuff and other things they just started doing PT I believe yesterday so at this point none of them are hurt or exhausted yet and I asked him if any major events happened and he said no not at all yet so all the recruits should be fine and safe moms

On my sons call today I asked him about his bunk mate.. he said he had two so far I would never put names but the first one int. S.G from penn. And the other one is from tenn. Not much to go on but was hoping to find the mom of his bunk mate any Moms?

My grandson signed up in Knoxville, TN. His initials are J.F. Maybe he's the bunkmate from TN. He's in Div 141.

Margo, I figured out which moms son is bunked w mine however they could know each other bc 141 is their brother div:)
After being frustrated w todays triva ques. I proceeded to the school my kids go to and my son graduated from and talked to the high school American History teacher. She was one of my sons teachers explained what the trivia is all about so now on tues she is going to watch the site and give the question to her class to figure out using their laptops and phones. Fingers crossed it works. If you have a good relationship with your childs school give it a whirl. She thought it would be a fun challenge and rewarding for her students even bc its for an alumni member of the district and educational. If u do it remb to give them the ship/div and your sailors name:)

Hey ya'll, got my first letter today.  Hope you did too!!!!  It was great to hear from Sam!

I got our first letter too. although he wrote it the 26 of Feb. so mostly stuff we knew already. He really isn't much of a writer. To be fair though I have mailed him a novel already so he prob hasn't had much time to write bc hes too busy reading, lol. It was nice though to get a letter!

No letter for me, but he GF got 5.  I have been writing everyday and I am sure that the GF has been to.  I guess I have to get used to sharing him with the GF.

I am sorry to hear that! I am lucky no girlfriend yet. Lol he broke it off w her when he decided to join the Navy. Are u close to his girlfriend? Maybe she could throw u a bone and tell him to write you:)Our letter wasnt very long but for him its a A+. I will pray a letter is sent ur way♥
