Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 808 and 809
Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).
sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.
Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.
Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.
We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

EofT, I was just doing a little searching trying to find out information for you...and for me too, I guess. I am as new (or perhaps newer) to this as you, but I did find a reference on the GL A School page about a Facebook page specifically by the TSC. You do not have to be a member to view it. It describes the phases of liberty and other information about programs there:

I wish that I knew the answers to your questions about combining 808/809. Presently I am trying to coordinate with my Son about what to bring to take "across the street". I sent him a long list of possibilities, and told him just to cross out the things that he DID NOT want. I thought that this would save him time, which they do not have to much of. I hope to meet you on 3/13.

Debby, We are also at the Ramada. I originally signed up there because in the pamphlet on hotels I received with the form letter it said, "Meet and Greet" reception for RTC families. What I found out later is that isn't SARGE's Meet and Greet...which really annoyed me...as I think it's purposely misleading. However, it didn't annoy me enough to change my reservation! LOL! Anyway, the address for Sarge's Meet and Greet is completely different...so check that out! So, long story short, we are still at the Ramada but are going to Sarge's M&G.

It includes: training for military leadership, Navy/Military Training, student control, berthing, and other support for students attending courses at the following Learning Sites and one unit.There are five learning sites located at TSC including: - Center for SEAL and SWCC
