My daughter starts bootcamp march 5th
Jenny. Where is your daughter coming from? Welcome. Hope to have many more conversations while our kids at bootcamp together!
We are here in Richmond staying the night in the hotel to say goodbye to her tomorrow. She is officially leaving for boot camp tomorrow.
Macksmommy. Just sent my baby off today. She is on the bus now heading to boot camp. Wishing you lots of hugs tomorrow. She was there getting sworn in, getting her airline tickets and then gone so quickly after. Be prepared.
So happy. Just got a call from my daughter. At boot camp now. Pants rolled up , last call just made, she seems happy and excited!! Hope yours are all the same!,
It was hurry up and wait all day then all of a sudden they had tickets and were gone. I just feel so sad. I already miss her so much.
Son was supposed to fly out yesterday after swearing in but due to the weather in Chicago he had to wait until this morning. I think was a blessing because he only got 2 hours sleep the night before. Loved that we got to see him off & get that last hug too... I really only teared up when he was saying goodbye to his little so bittersweet! I got the call that he made it there safe & sound and now it's time to just trust & let him do what he needs to do, right? Good thoughts to you tomorrow Macksmommy & congrats on the successful goodbye Tuttismimi, so glad she let you see her off!
*little sisters it was supposed to say!

My son left today. We spent last night with him for a few hours, took him back to his room, then went to MEPS this morning to watch him get sworn in. Glad we went. But it was very emotional. I felt bad because it seemed to make it harder on him. Now I'm waiting on the "phone call".

Roxelle- that is exactly what we are doing right now. I'm at the hotel, about to go to MEPS to watch my sweet girl swear in and say good bye.:( I don't want to make anything harder on her. :(

The journey continues.
