Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 135 and 136

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

HI all... I havent been on as ive had some ER visits and dr appts to take care of.  It was Mardi Gras here so Ive been pretty busy.  I got 2 calls on Sat from my SR. I was super excited and a bunch of us got letters.. 5 total.  He's doing great.  I'd like to know if any one would like to buddy up on cab fair from airport to hotel the on the 10th.   If you are interesteed please let me know!

I'm interested in sharing a cab or a car (I did reserve one)... I'm flying in to Ohare though, and I haven't seen anyone else mention that they are flying into there.  I'm booked to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Libertyville.

That's cute!  and very Easter-ish  :)

Im flying into Midway.. I havent booked hotel yet. I was trying to wait on Dau in LAw

Anissa, try posting your cab share request as a comment instead of as a reply.... That way it is more visible :)
I talked with my son yesterday!!! He has a cold!! He is in ship 14 div 136!!!
Yeah! Sounds like several from 136 got calls yesterday evening. :)

Woohoo!!!!!!!! Got my first letter. He answered the first questionarre that I sent him then added a letter.  He volunteered to be the  mail PO. Got his wisdom teeth out. Said they work together outside fine, but chaotic in the compartment. Passed swimming, working on other PT. Said their Div fast learners snd got it together but then seemed to slack snd got sloppy so their P.O. got ticked at them. Passed his first inspection, but the div didnt as a group. Signed off stating 33 days to go. Postmarked 3/3, rec'd 3/6.  :-)

That's great news Stacy. I'm so happy for you. He sounds like he's doing great! I can't imagine what they all must be feeling right now. Graduation is going to be so sweet both them and us.

Reread, corrections to add:  *(day/date removed). He said their PO has bad rep for being one of the toughest, fears being dropped because PO seems itchy for a reason to get rid of people.   Although he stated that, the overall tone of the letter was positive.    OH and my inspection comment was incorrect: he said he passed but that it was "team" success or failure.  He did not specifically say that the Div did not pass.  He wears his Smurfs as his Pajamas :)

*OPSEC (Battlestations are considered ship movement at RTC).

Ok, thank you for removing that :)

Got a call yesterday. He sounded great. Was on SIQ for infected ankles, blistered bad but now better. Said some are getting pretty stressed and that its tough seeing that. But he feels they are coming together. He said he has sent a lot of letters but we have only received one. Hoping to get the others soon. The call made us proud and even more anxious to see him.
