Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 135 and 136
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hi everyone… (Ship 14 Div 135) I'm still trying to figure this site out…lol But i'm so Glad it's here! I finally received a letter from my son, he hates the food (misses mine, has a list of food to bring..haha).and misses his girlfriend so much he wants to propose. i could of dropped dead! he's only 20! That was one heck of a first letter. i asked him to try not to kill me with the second..lol i only have so many lives and he's using them up quickly…haha
I am sooo glad by son didn't have a girlfriend before he left! Glad you got a letter. It's always good to hear about life there.
Good Afternoon! We didn't get a phone call this weekend!?!? I'm a little worried. He called last Saturday with a bad cold and very frustrated with some of his shipmates. He said that some couldn't keep quiet or keep their lockers clean. He said the extra punishment PT was hard on him. He is 20 and forgets what he was like at 18. He did tell me he broke down and cried once because he is also home sick. The only letter I have received is the form letter. I hope to get something soon in the mail.
hang in there. My son is 23 and in the brother group. They will make it; they have to depend on each other and create an atmosphere of team work. I write a positive letter of encouragement every day to my SR.
It was a bummer not to get a phone call this weekend - but no news is good news. Although us Mom want to know DETAILS! :) It's nice to be able to chat and learn from other families and what their SR is doing.
I talked to another mom whose son is in another Div. She said they did inspections Saturday. If they didn't pass that may explain why no calls this weekend.
dia…oh no, i'll bet they didn't pass inspection…my son mentioned that he was dropped so many times for push ups last week for other peoples mistakes! he was so mad and very upset in last weeks phone call. thats a shame, i hope it's not the case…if so they need to pull it together of they want to make it thru battle stations…that worries me…haha my husband says a good old fashioned blanket party should straighten those kids up who are out of line…he's bad though…lol
StacyLHR -his girlfriend received another letter today… me none…i see where i stand…i'm gonna kick his sailor butt when i see him. her- 4 me -1. whats that saying? your daughter is your daughter for all of your life, your son is your son until he takes a wife! or in my case a girl friend! Geez!!!!!!! he's getting a whopping!
I'm glad your son didn't have a girlfriend before he left either..lol saves on extra stress
Oh dia- he should write soon….If you want I can have my son's girlfriend get a message to your son to write you!!!!! ASAP…apparently my son and her are on weekly correspondence. her last letter was dated the 26th and she received it today and we are in Pennsylvania
