Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 111 and 112

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

What is the recommended time to make flight and hotel reservations for PIR on 03/21/14 I will be coming in from Texas.

(copied and pasted from separate discussion)

We have already got our flight on Spirit Airlines and hotels fill up quick....Hotel is booked as well.  I would consider booking your flights and hotel soon.

I may be traveling alone, never been to IL, before, I may be flying into O'hare airport, and getting hotel by airport, any suggestions on the least expensive way to get to RCT from there?

I got a letter from hunder this week and Div 112 is still on for March 21st PIR.  Looks like their schedule is very packed getting ready for Battle stations.  He said almost all of them has the "Pink Eye"...that is so hard to get rid of and very uncomfortable.  They still seem to be doing fine.  He said he would be able to call again at Battle stations.  Can't wait 13 days and counting!!!!!

Hi Everyone. My son is on ship 13 div 111 with a PIR on 3/21/14. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get one more ticket for graduation for his girlfriend?? I have looked and have seen some messages about only 4 tickets no matter what to if someone has an extra one they could use it. Anyone know?? Thank you :) Have a good day everyone!

Hello Navy Moms,

I will possibly be traveling alone to PIR on March 21st,  I have never traveled alone before and looking for someone that I can share ride with from hotel to RTC,  I will know my information on hotel, probably flying into O'hare.

Had to do some editing here ladies. Do not post recruits names please.

NavyMOM_Sandy has a name of someone in Ship 13 division 112 that is in need of mail, he is not getting any and is feeling "a little down". Please private message her for the information.

There are also a couple others in need of mail. If you have their names please just post that you have names so others can private message you for them.

NinjaMom,

I'll write the 2 SR's you indicated in your post.  Thank you for sharing that there was a need for letters and support.

I'm on it.

Sandy

Hello Navy Moms,

I will friend anyone that sends me a private message that would like to write the SR my son told me about.  This SR hasn't received 1 letter thus far :-(  My son said he feels so bad for him at mail call...

You will have to 'friend' me (send a friend request on my page) 1st.  I'll accept your invite and then we can private msg the details about the SR that could use some letters and is feeling really down.  My husband and our neighbor wrote him letters this week too.

Cheers,

Sandy

Hi ellen0502,

Sorry for my 'goober' move - Oopsy!

Cheers,

Sandy

I would be more than happy to write to him also if that is ok. My SR is in the same division.
:)
