Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 135 and 136

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

:)

my son said he has sent many letters too but have only received one. He said they only get to send mail out on Sundays.  I told him even if he wrote I'm fine across a piece of paper and mailed it. I would love it.  Just need to know he's ok. LOL

Amen to that Jodi!  but I do hope you get some more of your letters soon  :)

Hi I am SR Kersey MOM..  How is your son holding up.  My boy is doing ok

My SR had a wicked cold when he called a couple of weeks ago. But I can only assume he's better. Said he was having a good time. Meeting many new friends and Physical part was easy.

I hope he feels better soon! What div is he in? Only just about a month to go until we can finally see our boys! I'm so proud of all of them, I said to best friend yesterday," i'm going to look like a crazy lady because I want to just hug all of them." Lol. I feel for all of them. My poor son. Haha.

Ruth he's in 135.  I can't wait to meet all of you ladies. It has been a roller coaster of emotional rides. LOL.

Oh Stacy, Please don't worry…i know if you knew you me you'd laugh right at me and say "look who's talking!" But my son finally said he had some friends in last letter and he makes friends very easily… Remember that there are so many different personalities crammed in that place and they are scared and want to be the best and it's filled with testosterone. Trying to compete and not to be the dumb ass to get the group in trouble. (excuse the french) I'm sure he's doing fine, maybe he just has bad group…my son said he did at first and by the looks of the lack of calls I think he may be right…How old is your son? My son is 20 and the group i think is younger…

I believe we've reached the halfway point!!! I am soooo looking forward to going to PIR and wrapping my arms around my Sailor! Some days I feel sad because I miss my son, but there is always that underlying feeling of intense pride! I hope you are all doing well. Can't wait to meet some of you in a month!

Yeah!  Same here.  :)

Me too Terri. I miss him like crazy but can't imagine him doing anything else in life.

Me Three Guys, I miss him so much but I'm so proud of him. I was the mom who didn't want him to do this and now I couldn't be more proud of my baby boy. I can't wait to see him!
